The Chinese sites are often lower quality and slower. The content is accessible faster from a site that has cached the video from the Chinese site. Also, I can usually find a high definition version by using the American hosts as opposed to the Chinese hosts.

If you have a RGB input, you can purchase a cord that's pretty cheap.
I watch movies on my flatscreen from my PC everyday.
