I'm not really big on College Ball, only the NBA. However, I've been hearing Rush's name so much the past 2 seasons.
I was shocked to learn that he isn't even projected in the first round on some sites....I aways assumed he'd be a lottery pick with his level of success, as well as his team's level of success in the NCAA.
If I was drafting at 6 I'd take Rush based mostly on Best player available and ability to fit into Mike D's offense.
Is his stock so low because he is a muslim?
Interesting article about him on..

i think he will be the steal of this draft. I like his game alot. If we can get a late pick i would consider getting him.
My style is impetuous. My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious. I want your heart. I want to eat his children. Praise be to Allah!"

Re: Brandon Rush, why hasn't he been mentioned?
Brandon Rush wouldn't be BPA at 6 unless teams one through five were allowed to take 4 players each.
I'm really not sure where all the hubbub is coming from but honestly, Rush has a ugly jerky motion on his jumper, which he fires without fully extending his arms and which is a second slow. He'll get absolutely killed going up against bigger and more athletic defenders in the NBA. And when the jumper fails, he doesn't have the ball skills to be able to compensate for it. Teams can simply face guard him with a long limbed wing and he'd be pretty much done for.
Sure he'll look great in workouts going up against guys that would be lucky to drafted in the 2nd round in 3-on-3 scenario's but that's not what he'll face in the NBA.
The Knicks would be better off selecting the REAL BPA at 6 and trying to sign the other Rush (who I think is a FA) if they want a shooter off the bench.

Each workout called for Rush to engage in one-on-one drills with another player in the draft such as Chris Douglas-Roberts, Shan Foster, Chase Budinger or even Mario Chalmers, his former Kansas teammate.
After each session Rush sent the same text message to Bazzle or childhood friend Tim Blackwell: “I put ‘em in the trunk today.”
“In these workouts … I’ve been doing these cats,” Rush says. “Teams are seeing a lot of things from me that they never saw when I was at Kansas.”

Re: Brandon Rush, why hasn't he been mentioned?
rush is a very good player with limited upside. he'll be a great "glue" or complimentary player on a team. he won't be BPA for us, but is a lock for being a mid first rounder/late lotto.

I heard a rumor that Lebron wants the Cavs to draft him.

Re: Brandon Rush, why hasn't he been mentioned?
Hasn't he had plenty of surgeries already? I know he tore his ACL already. I think those are concerns for NBA teams as well as his limited upside because he's older.
Other than that, he should be a solid player in the NBA. But he won't be a star.
