I like Gallinari's release

The ball seems to get out of his hands really quick, he's not aiming at all. a sign of a true shooter 8-) .

Yeah he is definitely a pure shooter. Sort of reminds me of Mike Miller and Hedo. I like his release, its quick. If this guy can be half the player Dirk is, I'll be impressed.

The big cock has a great release point, I agree.

I am sure multiple people here who hate Gallinari are just waiting for his release... from the Knicks. One hopes DG will proves them wrong.

Yeah there are definitely some haters. I can say I wasn't too happy about the pick, but hey, lets see what the kid can do.

I really hope this kid plays defense. Otherwise whatever else he does is moot.

They do. Both use their long arm span to shoot as they should. It's a big advantage. And I like how the Big Cock finishes his release, with the bent wrists staying in the air.

I hear he's inconsistent though, Dirk is not inconsistent.

Not that it really matters in a gym, but didn't it come out he made 27 of 30 3 pointers from the NBA line in his second Knick workout? You gotta have nice mechanics to do that, alone or not. There won't be many defenders he can't shoot over, and he's gonna stretch the D for us. I think we're all gonna be pretty happy shortly into the new season w him. He'll do a lot of little things that go unnoticed but are important to winning Bball. Praise the Lord for a hi IQ Knick!
