Post#1 » by blueNorange » Tue Jul 15, 2008 5:10 am

- salt
- lots and lots of pepper
- 5 drops of mustard
- 5 drops of bbq sauce
- 4 table spoons of mayo
- chopped up scallions

and when i eat it i put munster cheese on it. so .. how do you like/make your tuna fish?? :)

The best recipe that I've had for Tuna is the simplest. I used it with freshly caught yellowfin and bluefin.
All it takes is marinating them in creamy Italian dressing (really). Grill (BBQ) them for 3-5 minutes per side.

INCREDIBLE.

How do I make my tuna fish?

I give it a rod.

How do I make up my tuna?

Mayonnaise, chopped onion, lemon juice, pepper, salt...

Between two slices of toast with a slice of tasty cheddar cheese, or if I'm feeling it, feta cheese.

As for how I make tuna salad, I keep it simple: big scoop of mayo, a little mustard, some pepper, and a touch of hot sauce, and sometimes finely chopped celery if it's in the house.

Reading this thread makes me crave some tuna. I LOVE TUNA, but I only eat it once in a blue moon. The same with fish, in general. I take lots of fish oil instead :/

Most everyone here is talking about tuna salad, not tuna fish...

For tuna fish - I let it sit in a bowl of water for about 20 minutes to rehydrate the fish (this works with all fish you are cooking - works great to make a flaky juicy fish).

Then I like to use a cajun fish seasoning. I sear it, then I wrap it in saran wrap and put it in the fridge, this allows you to cut it really nice and thin without it falling apart.

Take it out after maybe an hour and slice it very thin and serve with a side of home made wasabi.

Good stuff...
