OT: Rick Ross former Corrections Officer?

Rick Ross has charged that images depicting him as a young correctional officer are totally fabricated, the result of savvy graphic artists.

He told AllHipHop.com exclusively, "My life is 100% real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples' body. If this s**t was real don't you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything?”

Earlier, a single image was in circulation on the internet suggesting that Ross previously worked as a correctional officer at an unnamed jail or prison.

The Miami-based rap artist, known for his gritty street rhymes, said envious people have conspired against him for his success and stature.

Supposedly many in Miami Dade, including JT Money, already knew this to be true. He supposedly worked at the Everglades Correctional facility & if you look on their website his real name is listed under former officers.

I always thought he modeled himself after Freeway Ricky Ross from LA but now I get it, he modeled him self after former WWF wrestler Big Boss Man!

I guess we now know why the real Noreaga owes him 100 favors

wow if thats him.. he sure has changed. i dont get what the big deal is... a correctional officer isnt like a police man. i think its funny how he doesnt wanna be associated with that job. i hope that reallly is him and someone else calls him out. on another note, i hate the fact that he chose to use rick ross as a stage name. i cant wait til the real ricky ross comes out of jail.

if youre gonna be a rapper... be original people. dont use an actual persons name. especially if he really did the stuff you rap about...

I would not want to be associated with a correctional officer because they are criminals.

Correctional officers like to abuse their prisoners with many items, which is why I don´t like them. It seems they have a lot of weapons in their arsenal to contain their prisoner, like the stick (forgot what it was called), handcuffs, electrocution. Why do correctional officers need so many weapons for someone that is unarmed?

I´ve been thinking about this for the past hour, reading this thread. It seems to me the only reason for these weapons is so that the officer can put the prisoners against the wall and put the stick between their legs for searchings. I understand in the prison, correctional officers need to look at the private parts for weapons, thus requiring the need for the stick at least.

Does anyone work as a corrections officer? I would like to know how you work.

apparently he's turned his life around.. even still, his name will be mentioned and people will know who the real ricky ross is... not only that i'm sure he'd get some kind of movie deal if he hasnt already had one. point is- this correctional officer will be exposed even more for choosing this as his name.

Why is he ashamed of being a corrections officer, but is proud of this false "mob boss" criminal? This is the crap this is destroying the young African American community.

Looks real to me, all you have to do to prove it's a fake is find one of the two original photos that were allegedly put together.

Because he's gloryfying a lifestlye that has millions of black men locked up and he has millions of others listening to his fabricated drug selling lifestlye who are waiting to take the place of the millions of those locked up when they make parole. It would be like me working at McDonalds and rapping about Burger King burgers.
