Chalmers and Arthur caught with the stuff

Former members of the Kansas Jayhaws' NCAA championship team Mario Chalmers of the Miami Heat and Darrell Arthur of the Memphis Grizzlies were dismissed from the NBA's Rookie Transition Program on Wednesday morning after being caught in their hotel room at Doral Arrowwood in Rye Brook, N.Y., with marijuana, according to sources.

"Yes, they were sent home for violating program rules," NBA spokesman Brian McIntyre said.

According to a source, the players were also fined $20,000 each and will begin the season on the suspended list.

These guys are (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Lets hope this doesnt stain their careers. Chalmers could have a solid future and Arthur as well but they gotta be smarter than this.

I don't know why I find that news release so funny. They are going to have problems hiding their pot traveling in and out of airports if they're getting caught at the freaking rookie transition program.

And why did the league kick them out of the rookie program when it's obvious now the 2 rookies who need the program most. What they should do is add a pot hiding class to the program, Damon Stoudamire could teach it.
