Well if he isn't going to take a buyout.... is he even more worthless than I thought. If he wants to rot on the bench just to make a few million dollars more or to prove a point, well then he is worthless.

this is distasteful. if the knicks organization is going to be ran shady like this i would definitely fear for the future.

Now you know how we felt when Marbury decided to throw a hissy fit on a plane and not show up for the game.....

None of us know how Marbury has been acting lately - Perhaps he was presumptuous that he was going to be getting plenty of burn, and D'Antoni is sitting him on the first night to let him know that he'll play whoever he decides is playing, not whoever decides for themselves that they are playing.

I think Marbury was a model citizen this preseason but the moment he said he was getting every dime of his money you could see this coming. Mardy playing well all but guaranteed it. The heat really need a pg now I have a feeling that Walsh is gonna get a few calls this week.

Aren't you gonna be out of here when Marbury signs on another team? Don't worry about our future.

i fear that marbury might end up being a bigger disruptive force in the locker room

i dont think he is the type that takes humiliation well (which is what he is experiencing right now)

If this organization is now willing to put an ego maniac like Marbury in check, and promote a team concept, then the future has never looked brighter.

D'Antoni is showing that he is in charge. Marbury and Curry had better start kissing his ass if they want some playing time.

doing this will only create another soap opera around him. either cut him or play him, why create this drama ? do the knicks really need a new distraction to start this season.
