Miami's not gonna be that happy. They wanna get rid of Banks more than anything.

Re: My idea can help the Knicks now and future
Miami says hell nah. Why would they trade Marion for Curry? They can get at LEAST as much value for Marion as Denver did for Iverson. Curry has virtually no value at all.

Re: My idea can help the Knicks now and future
Miami gets Curry who is atleast 15 pts and 5 rebs per game and Marbury who can get you 15 pts and 8 ast to fit in. Starting 5 would be Curry / Haslem / Beasley / Wade / Marbury. Again, why would Miami not do it ??

That trade actually makes sense for all teams involved, which is rare to find on RealGM. Too bad the GM's probably aren't reading this board.

Re: My idea can help the Knicks now and future
You guys are crazy if you think Marbury and Curry have real value. I think a team might snag Marbury if we cut him but they are not going to trade for him. And Curry has negative value right now with his contract and fatness. We can't get someone like Marion for those guys. That is absurd.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't see how Miami accepts this.

Hm, the way Marion has been playing lately, I'd say this deal is more than fair. Maybe a fresh start and a strong figure in Riley is just what Curry needs.

I think this is a fair trade for all teams and, while we add a lot of contract since Marion would need to be resigned, its still a good move

That's actually a pretty decent trade. Unfortunately Mr. Conservative Walsh would never pull the trigger on something like that.
