I hate Roberson.

He is a BUM.
Why is he in the NBA. We took him over JR. He is an undersized 2 guard, thats middle name is Chuck. Is Defense is sub par at best. Why did we sign him??

Someone explain.....

yea he sucks and in nba 2k8, they auto sub him in before Nate... wtf??
and they dont even use his picture, lol!!! They use some other dude, i cant remember his name

Who's JR (Jeremey Ricahrdson)? Plus, it's a low risk move. Once Steph, Mobley, Malik, and others are gone next year...we'd have younger guys to run with. Ewing Jr., '09 Draft Pick, Danillo, Chandler, Nate, and Possibly Lee will all be here to form a nice core for the future or immediate present and add depth and versatility.

I think his spot minutes are also effecting him (just like they are effecting Eddie House up in Boston this Year). If you give this guy say 5-7 minutes straight, then a few minutes later in the Game...both times when need to give other guys rest, he'd have more consistency to his rhythm.

It's gott'a be very tough for a shooter like him to get into any kind of groove with such inconsistent Playing Time...I'm sure you guys remember what Chandler was like last Year during the same scenario, and Lee and Frye in the early parts of their Knick Career in Year 1.

...Not to mention I kind'a like the guys pesty defense...a couple of games ago he was playing terrific defense on whoever he was guarding (ala Nate), and causing much disruption for their Guards.

^ Jr. is Pat Ewing son's - and he has the same name.

I think Roberson is in the team because Mike antoni wanted another shooter - he actually thought this guy was going to be a monster behind the arc. I think he probably would shoot well... but the offense doesnt really allow him to do that. He would benefit more if we ran post up plays, he could shoot off the double team.

He is also shooting without confidence. When he is in the game during a blowout, he shoots well - then when its clutch time, he chokes more than Crawford does - please believe that.

Get in line. We made Dudu play 48 minutes the other day. That tells you all you need to know. We need to get rid of this waste ASAP.

His defense is acually pretty decent from what i have seen from him. just responding to the guy who said he was sub par

but i agree, the dude isnt very good. i mean he is supposed to be a sharpshooter, but the dude isnt hitting shots

We can talk about this year alone.... about those times he scores less than 10 points or when he makes less than 5 shots. Real Knicks fan who watch Knicks play knows that Crawford chokes way too many times in his Knicks career.

As far as last year.... those games he scores a bunch in 4th quaterrs, thats pretty much all he scores during the whole game, with 4 quarters. The game starts in 1st quarter, but I guess for you and Crawford it starts in the 4th, lmao.

I like Robertson's pesky defense. I'm perfectly fine with him as a 4th or 5th guard. The problem is that we are asking him to play as the 3rd guard and he is not talented enough to do that.

Also was anyone really that impressed with his summer play? There was nothing about SL that made me think Roberson deserved that contract. He had one decent game thats about it. There was never any outstanding talent there. It just desnt make sense.

Even in Europe he was terrible.
He's definitely one of the worst players in the NBA.
