Oh goodie! Chips like that are hard to top wouldn't ya say?
Those last 70 seconds, Randle in a nut shell.

Awful 2 for 1 3PT attempt when we are up 2
Doesn’t close out on Sabonis --> open 3
Takes another side step off balance 3

We got sucked into the Randle vortex where all good feelings go to die.

Gotta at least try to get Amare. Come on guys. We already know how he's going to play in this system. Do we need more info? Jeffries would have to go though. And the heat to trade Eddy would be on.

The point being, Phoenix would likely find a package that included picks before 2012, which is the first available to the Knicks to trade, and not having to take back salary nexst season.

I'm sorry, Harrington can be very good some nights, but he can also be the same guys he's been most of the last three weeks.

There just isn't a Knicks package that can get it done.

Gooden is expiring, but worthless beyond that. Tyrus Thomas is worthless trash. Not even a decent backup in this league. Chicago's first rounder is going to be 10-14 - not valuable enough to get Amare.

The team that gets Amare will have to give the Suns a very good young prospect at PF, an expiring and a high pick/talent. We can package Lee with Rose's expiring, Chandler and Tim Thomas for Amare and Matt Barnes.

Another option is doing Shaq + Amare + Barbosa for Marbury, Rose, Curry, Lee and Chandler.

This deal saves the Suns over $20M next year (assuming they extend Lee for a salary starting at $8M). Nobody beside the Knicks can save them as much $$$.

We can keep Barbosa or try to trade him for an expiring next season (his contract is not horrible). This puts us in perfect position to sign Lebro to a Max contract is 2010.

Yeah, but they give back $12 the next year with Curry, giving them a net total of $8m.

No - this is AFTER Curry.

Suns outgoing (2009/10):
Shaq - $20M
Amare - $16.4M
Barbosa - $6.6M
Total: $39M

Suns Incoming (2009/10)
Curry - $11.5M
Lee - $8.0M
Chandler - $1.2M
Total: $20.7M

Suns save $18.3M next season with this trade.

The Suns training staff can probably get Curry into shape to play next season and contribute. This deal works for everybody, but it means Dolan will have to pay another $20M in luxury tax next season.

But they then pay Curry $12m in 2010-11.

You can't just look at their the net gain for NEXT year, you have to look a the full amount they assume.

The Suns training staff can probably get Curry into shape to play next season and contribute.

Isn't that being a little optimistic?

Nash is an expiring contract by 2010 and he would once again be the Nash of 2-3 years ago in D'Antoni system. When Lebron signs with the Knicks in 2010, Steve Nash would sign for about4-7 mil a year in order to play with Lebron and Bosh.

** Amare most likely is going to be a Bull by Feb 19.. Even though the Kings and Raptors have already called Steve Kerr about Amare.

Why do people use ESPN when RealGM has a Trade Checker?

Ok lets see. Although I think they have the most to give , the Blazers are in the West so Scratch them off. The King's 1st rounder would very appealing but again they play in the west so scratch them off.
Raptors, well I doubt Amare would want to play there past his current contract so scratch them off.
So basically it's between us and the Heat. I see them getting him over us if they are willing to give up Beasley, but who knows.
