Just listened to the entire album a few times...

Run this town is amazing, but I knew that already. He forces his lyrics a bit, but solid song.
Empire State Of Mind is Fire. Hate w/ Kanye is my 2nd favorite on the track. Cudi's potential >>>>
And, he is solid w/ Drake. Very good album. Again, not his best, but by far, the best of anything thats out now.

Why does every single have to suck? Blah... quoted wrong person, but how does Run This Town suck? REALLY? If every single is garbage, I would hate to know what you guys do when yall go to parties....

Anyway, to the person I quoted, you have the worst taste in music history. Already Home, easily one of Jay's best songs, and you say its wack? Maybe you're just not a fan of Jay. I'm a huge fan of Jay and that's easily the best song on this album.

I hate Drake, and am very confident with that. New Hip Hop? Hell naw... Lil Wayne, Young Joc, Paul Wall, all garbage. Don't lump me. This was Rihanna's 1st song after the Chris Brown incident, and Jay took her under his wing. It's a party song, nothing more. Haters will always hate. The mood of this board, compared to others, is a joke...

What We Talkin' About: Flow is right, lyrically he comes basic.

Thank You: Dope flow, third verse is the best verse all album.

D.O.A.: Good track, but played lil too long in my car already.

Run This Town: Good song, but Jay is carried by Rihanna's vocals and a great verse from Kanye.

Empire State Of Mind: Fire

Real As It Gets: Another song where the feature carries Jay.

On To The Next One: Great combination, dope track.

Off That: I like the theme...the actual execution is a bit disappointing.

A Star Is Born: I'm tired of tracks like this...it's not creative to name drop all song long any more. The concept is pretty corny imo. Another song where the feature kills it, but didn't get enough bars to save the track.

Venus VS. Mars: What was that Memph Bleek song? Do my ladies run this mother for yuh...Do my dogs run this...yeah, this is like the poor man's version of that. Jay made a poor man's Memph Bleek track.

Already Home: I like this a lot

Hate: Hov and Kanye have no chemistry on this track.

Reminder: I love his flow on it...pretty sick track.

So Ambitious: I actually love this track.

Young Forever: Not feelin' it. I think of Napoleon Dynamite when I hear it.

So it's a 3 mic album. It's a nice change of pace from everything else I've bumped all year, and it's solid. If you talk about great Jay albums, this falls faaar to the wayside.

Already Home WAS wack. The chorus carried the whole song and was the only bright spot for me. The last verse is absolutely horrible ALREADY. If you catch my drift.

that whole hook, "Life's a game and it's not fair" is the realest part of the whole track and it wasn't just her vocals carrying the track but the combo of her hook and Kanye's verse. I thought Jay fell to the wayside on that one basically. Agree to disagree though, but yeah usually our tastes in music are the same. Jay causing schisms mayne!

It's one of those, "you gotta hear it" tracks that his flow makes work when on paper it probably shouldn't.

On a side note, I was reading this article and the first celebrity is a hip hop superstar and did some messed up ish I don't think I've ever heard of...and the article is funny as hell, so i though I'd share.

Empire State of Mind is good, I like Venus vs Mars too. Overall though album is pretty meh.

'On To The Next One' with Swizzy is shiiiitt, the title speaks for itself, go on to the next track haha.

Album is good. Better then I expected. I have one major issue with it that I found very disappointing.

DOA was a lead track in promotion and on the album. It was a song I was proud of and im not a jigga fan really.

But someone please explain to me what track 12 hate is? Is that not autotune?

He scrapped his first Blueprint 3 album which was 3/4th autotune. He sat back and hated it. So he scrapped the album, and made DOA. There may be a song or 2 from from othe old Blueprint 3.

The Kid Cudi track is absolutely ridiculous. Its one of my 10 faves of Jays of alltime.
