Paolo
Franz
Suggs
Mitchell

That’s a potent 4 right there.

On the table: WCJ, Isaac, Cole, 24 1st/25 1st, Den 25 1st, Pho 26 1st
Up for discussion: Black, Jett
Off the table: Paolo, Franz, Suggs, Moe (Franz tax)

I don’t think it would be a direct swap with Cleveland, maybe a 3-team deal who has the pieces Cleveland want.

That is the line of thinking a proper GM leading Magic should have at this point in time. Mitchell, Booker, maybe even Trae if we can find an eraser behind him. Those dime a dosen guys thats been discussed here can be fetched at any point in time regardless of cap.

This is why you should go after monk for 88m/4yrs

Then by mid December, when guys like Mitchell and Murray ask out, you can now offer a far better package that we can can offer now
Draft Carter
Sign monk
Trade Cole for a forward
Let chuma+fultz go
Offer Harris and goga a 1+1 deal

unleash Jett next seaon

Go Magic

Suggs, AB, Carter
Monk, Jett, Harris
Franz, Jett, Houstan
Paolo, Moe, (Cole trade)
Wcj, JI, goga

What would be your biggest offer for Murray (whom we all seem to agree is the best fit)

I would not touch suggs, Franz,ji and Paolo as I want to build on:

Murray
Suggs
Franz
Paolo, Moe
Wcj, JI

Unfortunately, I can't see an offer that Atlanta would go for

AB+Cole+ 2024 Frp+ 2025 orl FRP + 2025 den FRP is the max I would go and think wepark wouldn't bid that much when I m sure that they think that AB could become as good as Murray

POR always seems to be the best third in a 3-way…Grant, Brogdon, & Simons could help a team like ATL and POR should be receptive to picks and cap relief vs win-now stuff. I could see ATL valuing WCJ and/or Isaac, maybe Black, but, otherwise, we really don’t have much for them.

ATL sends: Capela, Hunter, Murray
ATL gets: WCJ, Jerami Grant, Brogdon, DEN 25 frp

POR sends: Brogdon, Grant
POR gets: Anthony Black, De’Andre Hunter

ORL sends: WCJ, A. Black, DEN 25 frp
ORL gets: Murray, Capela

ATL gets better fitting win-now guys, gets off Capela & Hunter overpays
POR saves a TON of money, gets a long, versatile defense-first prospect, and a younger, cheaper, versatile version of Grant in Hunter
ORL gets a straight up savage guard next to Suggs, who improves the team on both ends, and a better fitting vet rim-protector without giving up much draft capital by utilizing cap space to facilitate.

* I assumed ORL would be slinging picks around, but it seems pretty fair to all, given team priorities & timelines…no?

Similar, I want Murray to, I’d swap WCJ for Cole or Black (they won’t want 2 PG’s)
