Best post of the day. Had me rolling

But don’t you see, making a trade will result in the entire organization burning down to the ground! We made a bad trade giving up Oladipo for Ibaka years ago so we can never do anything remotely agressive or risky again! It’s too scary!

It's like the trade deadline of a few years ago never happened. Vuc, Evan and Gordon all gone in one day. This "no risk" narrative is a false flag.

Trading away a core that wasn’t working to initiate a tank isn’t risky. If anything it gave Weltman job security since the expectations went out the window.

Bro has been running the team since 2017 and the most agressive thing he’s done is start a tank and trade for a broken Fultz. Even when the team was semi competitive and in the playoffs with that core, Weltman refused to do a anything to improve.

PJ Washington is very good addition for Dallas.

Hindsight.. For the core fan (not terminally online ones), trading 2 time All Star Vuc was completely unexpected and unrumored. It was a big risk that paid off. Certainly more risky than any other trades that happened today so far. Which All Stars have been moved again?

To be fair, guys like Harris and Ingles had good reputations of shooters. The main issue imo is that too many of our role players have not been healthy, which is something they will need to fix.

I give them credit for acquiring 2 star pillars in Franz/P5 which is the most difficult/important thing to do as a GM. Now that they have secured them the next challenge will be to provide them with the perfect role players to suit them.

Agreed, an athletic perimeter defender with length who can space the floor and finish at the rim, allows them to play big or small with his versatility. Precisely the type of player you want to pair with Luka.

They don't improve by enough considering the cost of what they've given up. They have no tradeable firsts anymore and the additions of Gafford and Washington won't give them a chance in the west.

we're just going to let these expirings disappear aren't we? what is it with this front office and this lack of aggressiveness? every season they say some amalgamation of "internal development" "evaluation" "continuity".....are they really going to NOT do anything until they're FORCED to? which they will this offseason?
