Re: Official Draft Thread: Prospects Watch
I'm still not feeling Bennett. Looks like a beast in college because he can get away with being a 6'7" power forward. I think he'll carve out a nice role in the NBA, but I don't think he'd be a starting PF in the NBA.

Re: Official Draft Thread: Prospects Watch
Player of the Week (NBADRAFTNET)
Ryan Harrow - Kentucky Wildcats
It has been a roller coaster ride for Harrow in his first season with the Wildcats. He played sparingly in the season opener due to an illness that caused him to miss the next couple of games, followed by a family issue that forced him to leave the team for a week and then being in Calipari's dog house once he returned. Harrow's past has been marked by picking up and leaving when times get tough but he has persevered this season and now it is finally paying off. He had is best game of the season against the Thundering Herd as he led the team in scoring with 23 while pulling down 4 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists. He has his biggest test of the season this week against Louisville's Peyton Siva which will tell us a lot about how far he has come.
at half against Louisville he has 9 points 3 boards 2 dimes

I like him but I wouldn't take him over McLemore, Goodwin, Muhammad, Adams, Smart, or McW.

Yeah, I agree. I don't want to dismiss him as some scrub. He really is an athletic beast with an improved jumper. I just think he'd struggle to bang with NBA bigs like he does in college. And he doesn't really have the ball handling to play 3 or lateral quickness to keep up with starting NBA 3's. But, off the bench, he could be a pretty good player for an NBA team. Like Draymond Green. If we're in the lottery, I'd like to draft a guy who could start for us down the road.

Re: Official Draft Thread: Prospects Watch
Archie Goodwin is a baller. He did have a key TO down the stretch but he put UK on his back & got em back in the game.
I know there have been talks about him playing the point ala Westbrook. If he could develop his PG skills more he will be a problem in the NBA with his explosiveness & improved jumper.
Even if he stays at the 2 guard he will be a top 10 pick.

Fran Fraschilla @franfraschilla
Both Billy Donovan & Mark Few told me in summer that Smart one of best leaders they'd ever been around. They coached him on U-18 USA team.

Cool. I'll keep an eye on that.
He's exactly what this team needs. A big ferocious PG who's got legit skills. I want him badly.

Marcus Smart and LeBryan Nash are about to take on Gonzaga which should be a very good game. Keep an eye out for Smart, Nash, and Pangos.
