How much money does Devos have to pay Stern? I'll chip in.

Trey Burke having a very efficient & solid game today. IMO he is player of the year so far. When he is off the court & the ball is not in his hands Michigan looks terrible.

Burke has a great team around him, opposing teams cant really double him because of the great scorers and shooters Michigan has...must be fun running that offense

Ehh I'd say he has one GREAT shooter in Stauskas, & some solid, but inconsistent shooters like Lavert, GRIII, & Hardaway JR.

If you take Burke off this team I'm not sure anybody on this roster comes close to running it the way he does.

Those shooters benefit so much off of Burke because he is constantly breaking down his defender & is such a great decision maker in the PnR game.

Burke finished with 26 points on 8-11 shooting, 2-3 from 3, 8-10 from the line, 3 boards, 8 dimes, 1 TO

EFFICIENT :D

the team combined is shooting 50% from the field and 40% from three on the year, their top 5 players have crazy numbers from the field (%), Burke, Hardaway, and Robinson are all great players and will be drafted, maybe Stauskas too

True, but I'm saying if you take Burke off that team all those open looks would def decrease. Teams have to send the double at him when they go to the PnR game & he has been making the right decision & finding the open guy all season long. Whether that's Stauskas, GRIII, or Hardaway Jr they all benefit big time from Burke leading the way.

Out of those other 3 I feel that Hardaway Jr is the only other guy who could get his shot on a consistent level, but it would lead to a poor shooting %.

Yea not blazing quick, but has a very very good handle on the ball & is just extremely crafty at getting where he wants on the floor.

Very nice game from Burke. He killed Illinois, it was 47-51 then he just took off on them. No way Burke is there @ 15 IMO.

As an Illini fan man Paul can be frustrating.. Every year it's the same story. This guy has all the tools to be a great player but he can be such a poor decision maker and so passive at times.

Yea Paul is way to passive. He is head & shoulders better than Richardson, but Richardson has been doing the leading lately.

At this point he is a 2nd round pick, but he is also a guy I could see excelling at the NBA level & being one of those 2nd round picks that have all the GMs scratching their heads thinking, man how in the world did he fall as far as he did?

He has a NBA game, but really lacks the confidence. Which is puzzling considering the ability he has shown in the past.

Shabazz starting on Fox Sports.

Guess he has a swollen right eye of some sorts & may have to rock the goggles at some point in this game, if his contacts give him fits.

I like Trey Burke, not as much as Smart but i would be happy with Burke if we couldn't snag smart. For me as far as PG's i would take in the draft so far:

1)Smart
2)Burke
3)McCollum
4)MCW

I just wish Henny can pull something off and get us another first round pick preferably a mid first rounder. I've said all along that our PG slot is an issue and a good amount of people didn't agree, but with Meer on the wrong side of 30 and can't seem to stay completely healthy people should start jumping on the bandwagon. We need to solidify our PG future

Burke's current play reminds me so much of Nelson's senior year.

Developing our rookie next year will be big, but so will tanking for one of Wiggins/Parker.
As an Orlando fan from Toronto i'd be ecstatic if Wiggins ended up on Orlando.. after drafting Marcus Smart

Smart*/Udrih/Nelson - Udrih/Nelson are both solid, Nelson is a leader, but injury prone.
Wiggins*/Afflalo/Moore/Lamb - Wiggins is a superstar, Afflalo/Moore are both solid. Lets watch Lamb develop.
Harkless/Harris/Jones - Young, developing SF rotation. Really impressed by Harkless personally.
Nicholson/Warrick/Harrington/Davis - Hope we can drop some of these contracts. Prof.Drew is showing promise.
Vucevic/O'Quinn - Big fan of both players. Vooch is something special too!

Only problem is Wiggins will play SF in the NBA and the Magic probably won't keep Udrih.

Eh in 2 years time the team could look completely different.
But even with Wiggins at SF ( Harkless on the bench) and Afflalo starting i would LOVE to watch the team.
And hopefully in 2 years time, Orlando will be able to get some more nationally televised games cause I miss watching my favorite team at least sometimes on tv :(
