THANK YOU JJ *CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP*
my allegiance to a player usually leaves when they leave the ozone... this is the first time in the history of me liking basketball (28 yo) that my favorite player in the league does not wear a magic uniform.

Hopefully we can sign him after his next contract when we're contending for a title as a veteran SG

One of the hardest workers ever. He took his game from nowhere to a legit player wanted by many teams. I hope he signs with a contender in the off season. I will always root for JJ. Thanks for giving your heart and soul to the Magic.

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
What makes him special is his high basketball IQ and his attitude. Everybody will miss him. I would prefer him to stay with a 5 mil. contract.
The sad part is, there are 2 ego-maniac guards in Milwaukee. Ilyasova uses long range shots too. I do not know how JJ will fit in their system.
In addition to that; Jennings and Ellis contracts are also expiring this summer. I do not think Milwaukee will be able to resign Jennings, Ellis and Redick at the same time. They will have to pay around 35-40 mil. for 3 guards if they do so.
He will probably change his team again this summer.
May be we can resign him, who knows.

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
I am so bummed out he left. I understand the reasons Hennigan did it etc but yeah...it hurts.
He turned into not only my favourite Magic player, but NBA player. So to see him on another team is going to hurt and makes me sad.
I honestly don't know if I can enjoy and follow the rest of the season as closely as I had thus far. Might just take a break till next year now.
I wish him nothing but the best. A true player, professional and leader.

Re: The Farewell JJ Thread
My favourite all time Magic player. I was extremely happy when we drafted him, believed in his skills and attitude when he couldn't get any minutes with Brian Hill (and in SVG first year), and enjoyed immensely his IQ on the court.
I'm very sad to see him go and I will start following Bucks games just to root for him. And I hope that he returns home to Orlando soon and stays here until the end of his career.
JJ and Jameer are the two most honest, smart and team driven guys with a good attitude we had since I can remember.
Good luck JJ.

I went from the high of a Tottenham last minute winner to the massive low of JJ being traded a few minuts later
The only Magic game I've been to was against Denver in 2010 when Carter got injured 2mins into the game and JJ played nearly the whole game, the most he's ever played in a single game

Thanks for the memories Redick! His game grew in front of our very eyes. His hard work took him from being a bench warmer under Brian Hill, to a key player during the past couple of seasons.

Alex Kennedy @AlexKennedyNBA
J.J. Redick told @DavidBaumann33 that he cried when he received the news that ORL had traded him to MIL. He loved Orlando and his teammates.
Oh, man...
