NBA Draft Lottery Party?

Hey guys, was just curious to know if there are likely to be any official or unofficial Magic Draft Lottery parties in Orlando this year? Ill be over in the US from Australia and will be keen to attend something with other Magic fans. Did the Magic do a party last year?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Nothing official, but I'm sure there will be a draft party at Amway Center and one at NBA City out at Universal

I hate to be that guy, but I just don't have a good feeling about this year, I feel a 5th pick coming.

Last year there was a free event at the Mercedes Lounge in the Amway Center. The food and drinks were all free. Pretty good food and pretty good turn out too. I hope they host it again this year. I learned about it on the official team website.

Even if it is, im happy with that. 5th and 12th will give us two core players to add to our already talented squad. If 5th and 12th is the worst case scenario for us, ill be partying all night long

We should plan something for just us realgm'ers, like go to draft the club right across from Amway on draft night (they play most games there and pretty sure they will show the draft, I use to date a server there so I could verify) and get a couple of drinks and like have a secret code so we can tell eachother apart lol I'm down!

I'm down, just keep this thread stickied. I think id be more inclined to draft party than lottery selection party tho.

I was at Draft across the street when we Picked Oladipo but that was the actual draft. Im down for the Lottery too though. Havent missed one in years. Dang i feel like i just jnxed it.
