you are right about the poor ft shooting, but dwight gets there so much more often that its still a net plus for him. Dwight can also beat other center with his quickness which vooch cannot do, whereas vooch is better at anything doesnt involve shooting right next to the basket.

Vuc has his own strengths near the basket... way better efficiency with tips-ins (54% vs 30%) and layups (64% vs 54%). They have comparable hook shot efficiency (39% vs 38%). Vuc is also better at turnaround jump shots (70% vs 35%) and turnaround hook shots (67% vs 38%).

It's a mixed bag in terms of volume. Vuc had 4x the amount of tip-in attempts (he is ridiculously good at this), dwight had around 60 more layup attempts, same amount of hook shot attempts, same turnaround jumpshot attempts, dwight had 3x turnaround hook attempts. Keep in mind Dwight played 14 more games than Vuc this year.
