Peyton Siva has agreed to terms with the Orlando Magic, a source told Yahoo Sports.

Gotta see the details of the contract, but that brings us up to 16 roster spots. Dedmon/O'Quinn are the only non-guaranteed contracts. Training camp invite for sure, but I wonder if there's more.

Maybe we trade Nicholson for nothing to get the extra spot. That gives us 3 PGs too. Maybe Oladipo starts at SG?

Just to continue what I was saying in the spec thread, could this just be an unguaranteed training camp contract? Kyler says it's not, but......it's Kyler.

I'd rather have both KOQ and Dedmon on the roster than Siva. Maybe Siva and Marble go to our D League team?

Yeah, I'm really confused by this signing. I mean I like Siva and don't mind that we got him, but we don't have room unless we drop Dedmon, which really doesn't make sense.

Kyler is terrible.

Very good move by Rob though. I love seeing him take advantage of having the Erie team. Sure Siva may never put on a Magic jersey outside of preseason, but it's a great use of a "minor league" system. He can get all the playing time he needs to improve his game, and the Magic now have a player waiting if we ever need him, say a season ending injury happens to a player or a trade happens later on in the season that frees up a roster spot for him.
