Just don't make this a game thread - which btw is missing. How come no one has made it?

Who hurts this team more right now being out?
Frye or VO?

I think Frye is the only way this team makes a big leap this year, so his absence hurts the team the most.

But Vic's absence hurts me the most.

I agree. losing the floor spacer hurts everyone.

I like everyone have been waiting to see the Payton VO backcourt.

Did everyone here just discover Frye when we signed him?

Oladipo hurts more IMO. Frye gives you floor spacing and some decent shooting, but IMO that's not anything Harris at PF can't provide for a few games. It's not that big of a loss in the short term. Conversely, Oladipo is one of the very few players on this team that can create for himself and others and handle a bulk of the ball handling. Payton is a rookie and we can expect turnover issues, B. Gordon is streaky, and Ridnour is a good vet but won't create for himself very much (maybe a play or two but nothing huge).

lets slow our roll a bit on this. Dipo only spent part of last year as a combo guard. He still is not the best ball handler, though better than when the year started. Ben Gordon has as good if not better handles, same with Ridnour. Dipo was never really a "create for someone else" type of guy. I think we lose a little, but not as much as you make it out to be with Dipo not being out there.

Vuc v Asik
Harris v Davis
Gordon v Evans
Gordon v Gordon
Payton v Holiday

This will be Vuc and Harris' big chance as offensive focal points, and they're starting off against one of the best interior defending duos in the league. Big test! Hopefully they dominate.

It's easy enough to say that on an Internet forum. The hard part is getting JV to realize it.

I hope we find help at PG. Ridnour ain't gonna cut it. It's going to be tough to expect heavy starters minutes night in and night out from Elfrid. I do not want Dipo to be at point much this year. Maybe spot minutes, but I want him focusing on his role at 2. Some low level trade for Aaron Brooks or Ramon Sessions types would be nice.

Here's a gif. He somehow managed to break his leg with his other leg. It's the same leg where he suffered a foot fracture... maybe he has weak bones.
