What could Oladipo net us?
Interested to know what type of players Oladipo could get is in a trade. Not saying we should trade him, but honestly, I feel like Fournier makes Oladipo expendable, to a certain extent.
So, who could we get for him?

I made it clear in OP. all I'm interested in is getting a feel of what you guys think he can get us. That's all. Not insinuating anything either.

Re: What could Oladipo net us?
I'll go out on a limb and say that we wouldn't get anything back that would improve the team from where it sits right now. Also, I disagree that Fournier has made Oladipo expendable. Depth is a good thing, not a bad thing. But hey, we're talking about Rob Hennigan here. He might trade Oladipo for a muffin for all I know.

MellowRose just admit you hate Oladipo. The denial is hilarious.

Re: What could Oladipo net us?
I think a package of Harris + Dipo + 1st rounded to net us a disgruntled super star much like what we got for Dwight.
Unfortunately, players like that usually want to be traded to LA, NY or to play alongside Lebron. They don't often demand to be traded to a rebuilding Orlando in exchange for the majority of their rebuilding efforts.
So while just looking at a fair trade equivalent is one discussion, the reality is that what this Orlando Magic team could get for Oladipo is not worth making the deal.
Even if the excitement for Dipo is fading, he is a productive player with time left on a rookie scale contract. He is worth a lot to us at the moment.

Re: What could Oladipo net us?
I find humor from the overreactions on this forum, Oladipo has shot 5/7 and 6/11 in his past two games, and he still getting into NBA shape. Once Vaughn starts playing him at his natural position (SG) I expect Oladipo's numbers to go up.
I have noticed a phenomenon where Magic fans seem to fall in love with whoever our rookie is in the season or newcomer is, and after they past their rookie season just talk bad about them or there's a negative outlook towards the players (Oladipo, Harris when he came from Milwaukee)

Out of curiosity, who would you give that up for excluding Lebron, Durant, Davis, or Curry?

So this is the problem right? First, there has to be a disgruntled star demanding a trade and second, that guy has to want to come to Orlando. This isn't likely to happen so the key point of my post was that we shouldn't bother talking about trading Dipo.
Obviously the guys you listed are worth making a big shake up for.
People will probably not like this suggestion but the character complaints have quieted down and the talent is more apparent than ever. So I would absolutely add Boogie Cousins to this list.
I can't think of much more.
There are a lot of other intriguing guards (Irving, Wall, Westbrook, Lillard) but I don't know if I would give up so much for any of them. They're great players but that is a big price tag. I would say the same for forwards like Griffin and Love. They are great if you have CP3 or Lebron, but would I try to build a franchise around them?
Again, the list is slim and none are likely to demand a trade soon let alone a trade to Orlando. So this was just a matter of would I accept if the other side was drunk enough to offer.

Why not wait and see what he looks like when he's exclusively at SG?

Thats not a Magic fan phenomenon.. Its a sports fan phenomenon
sports fans are fickle and are always looking for the next best thing
