Could also be indicative of another trade looming. Acquiring young talent to ship off elsewhere? Or maybe we just like him, i dunno. He may never even come stateside.

Timma has not play for the Grizzlies. He was a draft and stash player who did play a couple of summer league series in the last couple of years since he was drafted into the league. Likelthe move for the Grizzlies is to assure more room to retain Marc Gasol by taking back Ridnour's NG contract. If Timma happens to come over to play for the Magic, hope he works out.

Drafted in 2013 2nd round 30th pick in the Draft. What are the odds of trading for a player from Latvia that just so happens to also be where Porzingis is from. Coincidence...O.o

Probably just filling out our summer league roster. Remember we have 2 teams this year. I don't think Luke wanted to be here. I heard multiple times throughout the year he wanted to retire.

One thing for sure, I enjoy these pre-draft trades that Rob does. Last year's trade worked out ok for us. Hopefully this one is a nyce surprise.
