Damn I had to bounce after the 1st half and missed an epic 2nd half it seems like. Would anyone be so kind to explain how the 2nd half and OT went please?

I was at the game, one of very few people I might add.. The place was 1/4 filled haha.

Anyway, Hezonja/Frye had it raining from 3 for a stretch there in the second half and Vucevic was putting on a show in the paint. Slowly but surely the Magic took back the lead and were even up 6 pts with 1:58 to go but Nate Robinson drilled 2 3's to tie it. Vucevic missed the potential game winner. So OT began and again Vucevic had some nice plays, and Fournier drilled a dagger 3 if I remember correctly. Was a good game, considering it was preseason.

It was epic. Picture two teams that wanted it so bad. Hear the sound of the crowd cheering every play, teammates urging each other on.

Then picture the Pelicans at the free throw line. Because that's what really happened.

Yeah I saw the FT attempts by the Pelicans, ridiculous. Was that a product of us not being at the right place defensively or us getting disrespected by the refs as it always seems to be?

Skiles addressed it in the post-game. He mentioned they were trying to play through contact in practice on the offensive end without calling a ton of fouls, and they need to dial back the handsy play and defend a little more with their bodies.

Still not sure how that goes from 40+ FTAs per game for the other team to a more manageable number, but at least they'll try to address it this week.

Great game for Mario, heck, bunch of guys had great games tonight.

If Gordon landed that dunk...the entire amway center would have erupted...would have been nasty!

We are looking a lot better than we did last season and you can say "It's preseason blah blah blah" but man I'm telling you if our guys play like they did in the 1st 3rd and 4th quarter EVERY quarter, we would have a really scary team.

Oh and Marble playing at the point is a never again in my opinion, it's so bad, I hope Skiles will give up on it.

I only saw the 4th quarter but great job guys. Vuc looked rusty but definitely pulled through with his technical style. Lol at dipo (I suppose) singing in the background of AG00's interview. My wife even walked in "is that dipo singing?" "Yeah babe, probably"

Is there any chance that Aaron Gordon is a starter in the first game? I've read that they want to play him more with Tobias, but it hasn't happened. There is the minutes restriction, and another thing Is Skiles seems to like Fourner as a starter and be their designated shooter or floor spacer in their first 5.
When will the minutes restriction of Gordon be lifted?

It feels like he's been on a minutes restriction since the moment we drafted him. Very frustrating. No idea when it will be lifted, but hopefully we will let this beast run free sooner than later. He's done a great job of working on his game by himself, but we've done a horrible job of developing him.
