Porter and Wall shoot 30.7% and 35.7% on 27 shots and the Wizards still finish the game shooting 47%. Uggghh
The curse of Fran Vasquez lives on

This team is awful in the final 5 mins of games. The opposing team just needs to be more awful in order for Orlando to receive a win.

Fournier is the closest thing this team has to a go-to player. I'd give the guy whatever he wants come summer time. I have a feeling this team would have about 2 wins realistically if it weren't for him.

I believe the primary reason we lost is because we came out in the 2nd half and let them run layup drills for extended periods of time. No transition defense. They were running end to end for layups on makes and misses alike.

The secondary reason is because Kris Humphries had, by far, the best shooting night he's ever had in his career (and probably ever will have).
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

I was at the game. (I live in baltimore so its the only time i get to see them live). It was a good game. Good back and forth action. Ultimately this game waa lost cause of leaving Humphreys open a alarming amount of times and us just not having a closer. Payton, Vuc and Gordon all played well just not good enough. Tired of moral victorys.

Humphries killed us, Payton missed layups again, Tobias was a no show most of the night, Vuc was okay, but there were a few head scratching defensive possessions. Fournier was a no show in the second half. All of this combined with playing on the second night of a back to back and Washington had 3 days to prep for us lead to a loss.

Uh, I think you posted this in the wrong thread. Didn't you mean to post this in the "Elf is a cancer" thread you're undoubtedly about to start?

Make us a "Defenders of the Elf" sig and I'll proudly rock it.

I'll see what I can do.

Good enough?

Tobes was basically iced out of the game by Fournier. It's almost like Fournier refuses to pass to him. I saw back to back possessions where Fournier could've made an easy pass to an open Tobias, but he looked him off and looked for a well defended Vuc through a quickly closing double team on himself.

The only times Tobes was getting baskets and looks was when he was making them happen for himself from the perimeter, and that's not the best way to use him.

We need a damn closer. Henny has work to do. We may get to 500 but that is it. TBH we can't ask for much more than that.

That's one of the few faults I can pick out of Fournier's game this year. He's a biased passer. He needs to just make the simple pass and the right play no matter who the receiver is.

My thoughts in a nutshell:

"I don't understand why we look so fatigued sometimes at the start of the third," Skiles said. "We just look like we're just out of gas and we're just kind of lumbering up and down the floor. They were just sprinting by us over and over again just laying the ball in the basket."

"They're better than we are," Magic coach Scott Skiles said. "I mean they don't win as many games against us over and over and over again and not be better than us. But we should be the ones flying down the floor in the third quarter instead of them doing it to us."

In my view, it all stems from Elf. He seems to be sulking and playing frustrated. Last year when he felt adversity he responded by getting fired up and getting mad! This year its the opposite. He shrinks, slows down and sulks and that mentality has been spreading through the whole team. I wonder if theres something going on in his personal life that has brought about this change. Seems out of character for him.
