You would think a defense-first coach would have tried it by now.

He probably will, eventually. Why I believe he's reluctant to put Elf and Oladipo on the court at the same time is because they have no back-up PG with Watson out. Its more likely that the offense from the bench would become more stagnated with Fournier running the show instead of Dipo.

What motivational methods do you utilize for your players to believe in themselves for the sake of their careers and of the team?

I'd make it more aggressive wording.

"Have you scared Mario and Aaron away from taking shots? Because they give up a lot of open looks, or the veterans just seem to ice them out".

I wonder if they've tried it in practice.

Without Watson, Oladipo or Gordon in the second unit the defense for that group looks to be pretty terrible: Napier / Fournier / Hezonja / Frye or Nicholson / Smith....48 minute balance I'm sure has a lot to do with it.

You gotta have a little class. What you want to ask about is if there is a pecking order on offense outside of set plays that are called from the sidelines or out of timeouts. It seems like there is a fair amount of leeway given to the ball handlers and players on the court to call their own number, how do you encourage the younger, less experienced players to get themselves involved at times when the tendency may be to defer to the more experienced players on the court.

How often do you beg Hennigan for more dynamic and or shot making wings and then how often does he tell you "hey bud, Mario and Aaron say hello"

Ask him, "Coach Skiles have you thought about leaving Channing Frye over here in London?" :)
