DX now has us with Poeltl. I wonder what the reason is for the shuffling. Is it something Givony is hearing about us doing, or is it more a result of what another team is doing? The only certainty seems to be that there's still plenty of uncertainty.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Not bad... Better than the projected bigs in our range. I'm always for BPA but how many guards/wings do we need? Then again, if we let Evan walk....

Reminds me a bit of Jimmy Butler for some reason.

Very much could be a Jimmy Butler type of guy. I like his length and wingspan. He looks like he'll fill out his frame good and be better adapted to a hybrid SF role that anyone else we have. I'm sort of assuming a shakeup in our roster at some point so not focusing too much on team fit.

I'm impressed with Luwawu as well. I just want us to get this year's Butler/Klay Thompson/Kawhi/Giannis/Gobert type steal, whoever that is.

Chad Ford says that he's hearing rumblings that Ujiri and the Raptors will take Skal at 9 if none of the top 8 fall to them. I think that may have been the change, making Poeltl potentially available at 11, and apparently the insiders think we'd prefer Poeltl over Sabonis if given the opportunity.

Still way too early to feel like anything is locked in though.

I honestly feel that if we draft Poeltl then Vuc will be traded. Maybe even draft night.

Reminds me of Paul George more than Butler. Perfect for Vogel

Im driving the Luwawu train. Whos on board. Best wing player in the draft after the top 2 possibly

If you look at Poeltl draft express workout video you see a certain wild haired point guard he's running the pick and roll with.........

Give me Davis please. No Skal. I'd take Sabonis over Poeltl.

If we get one of Skal/Sabonis/Davis or even Diallo I'll be happy. I trust Hennigan. I'm less high on Ellenson as a fit for what we need, but maybe I'll be wrong

Yesterday mocks had us taking Skal. Today it's Sabonis.

Such a toss up.

If Brown does not slide to 8, Kings will prob take Baldwin, which would allow Uj to take whoever fell out, which gives us the opportunity to get Skal if he is BPA.

I like him, but I wonder if it isn't best that he continues his development overseas. He looks like he has great potential at both ends, but he needs a lot of refinement at the offensive end.

Those 2 things are unrelated. No reason to trade the vet center just to make way for a rookie.

The future is bright 8-) Payton said. ``I just want to keep getting better and maybe one day I can be the all-time all assists leader for the Magic.’’

I not saying that we are trying to make way for a rookie. Rather, I feel one of the targets this summer will be to get a starting center that play defense. I feel that Vuc will at best be coming off the bench this season. Poeltl and Vuc are very similar players and Poeltl will cost less. Why not have him come off the bench for half the price, upgrade the center position in free agency, and use Vuc to get some other pieces that we might need. Besides, weren't there already reports that the Magic were shopping him around a few days ago?

I will be stoked if we select Poetl, dude looks legit. So right now I'm at 1a, Poetl 2a, sabonis, 3a Diallo.
