AG with a strong boxscore.

Vuc with two games in a row of being a near triple double guy himself.

I might actually watch this game when I get home tonight.

EP was great but I think Mario was the brightest light tonight. He's showing life and having fun.

Losses are needed but fun to see young guys win leading the charge.

How was he looking as a stretch 4? 6 assists is pretty good.

Surprisingly, he wasn't used as a stretch-4 but more of a point-forward. IMO, his play tonight was very Hedo-esque. He ran a lot of curls and PnR and he seemed to make right reads a lot of time (see 6 assists). He passed up a few wide open shots, but I think when he regains confidence in his shot, he'll let those fly.

For someone who was left for dead on exile island much of the year, I'm super excited to see him finally getting PT and him growing and trying to make the most of his time. He's definitely a player and core piece of this team.

The question is not about tanking. It is why do we constantly have a coach who forces their preferred style of play for the first half, then gives up and plays to the teams strengths only to see the team play so much better when it could have been this way all season. That is the true frustrating part. Using Fournier as a scorer and not a ballhandler...check. Using AG as an athletic dunker...check. Using Vuc all around skill level...check.

Too little too late. Hopefully we continue into next season, with two more first round picks added. If the pro tankers want anything to feel good about, it is that next season Vogel probably won't revert back to his normal style and will continue to let the team play this way.

Also, in real time, that AG reverse dunk was unreal. It was so fast and surprising.

This is the real reason we are doing better, not because we "suddenly care". We had talent on this team, we just have to put them in the right places to use said talent. We're not an elite team or anything, but we're better than what we've showed most of the season.

Sign the man this offseason. The way EP has been playing, unless we win the lottery and land Ball, he will be our starting PG next year.

One of those guys collects stats against blatantly tanking teams, just can't put my finger on which one is it...

Yeah. Everyone drops triple-doubles against those teams.

If we were to go into the next season with this exact starting lineup + a decent bench, I could see us being close to 0.5 ball. Maybe 38-44. Keep Jodie, Mario, and Biz and trade or get rid of everyone else. This offseason we need to focus on a bench PG and a starting SF so that way we can move Fournier to the bench; where he belongs. PG, Meeks, Fournier, Mario, Biz.

This offseason Rob will be sacked and new guy will shuffle the deck and probably go for new tank.

If only. Every prospective GM for this organization will go through an interview process where they are expected to lay out their plan for bringing this organization back to competitiveness. Anyone trying to sell bottoming out and building through the draft will be crossed off the list.

Fox is good. His shot isn't bad. Get him and let he and Elf battle for starter.

Because that was Hennigan's plan of action. The organization has been droning on about the playoffs for the last couple years, even though the team wasn't ready, because ownership didn't have the patience to see the organic approach through. They aren't going to sanction another strip down and rebuild.

Yes, he'll serve as sort of scapegoat, but last trades/FA didn't help him either. Nevertheless, they are not blind and know entire league is 'organic' now, thus they will blame Hennigan for the failed rebuild attempt and start fresh.
