Omg don't tell me fans from other teams are laughing at us that we lost our starting QB. I have a ticket for the conference championship game but I don't know if I feel like going now. If we lose, than we can point immediately because we lost our starting QB. I will see how I feel next week as it gets closer to the championship game if I want to go or not but Darrell Mack is going to have to try to turn into a star.

We can now either tank/ go downhill because we lost our starting QB or maybe if we don't, we get really lucky We don't miss a beat with our backup QB and we could really impress the college football committee?

Just reading about Teddy Bridgewater's knee injury and it looks similar to what Milton did.

People will freak out but fact is we’ve got the next game at home and a running game capable of carrying us to a conference title. The defense looked fantastic today and last week. Our guys need us to show up even more to help provide the home advantage. All of our goals are still possible.

Milton was rushed to the hospital apparently. I hope everything ends up okay and that he has a full recovery.

How is Memphis already locked in to play us in the conference championship game? Tulane owns the tiebreaker over Memphis if Tulane wins on Saturday at home vs Navy. I don't think Memphis has 100% secured the conference championship spot.

We need to find out how good Darrell Mack Jr is because we might have to get by our running game for the most part and sprinkle in a few throws. The good news is we host the conference championship game at home but I'm not sure if thats good enough with a backup QB unless he is good.

Mack Jr. ran an interesting fact play-action pass several time to McCrae. It froze the defense and led to 3 or 3 of McCrae's big runs. I expect to see more of that in the title game.

Edit; maybe it is more accurate to call the play a fake QB-keep. I cannot tell when Mack Jr. is rolling out if he intends to pass or run. So faking that, not sure what to call the play.

The Washington St loss is helpful, but the Oklahoma win means UCF needs them to lose to Texas.

TAMU is favored over LSU, and an Aggies win would change the dynamic of UCF's bowl game (and assure that a 2-loss team will not overtake the Knights.

What a terrible injury for perhaps the greatest football player in Ucf history.

Hopefully Milton can recover from this and return to the field.

What I understood from a media person last night is that this is possibly career ending.

Let's hope not.

USF has turned into a complete train wreck.

I would not be surprised to see massive changes.

Great win for Ucf, outstanding support by the traveling fans, and much credit should be given to the coaching staff for keeeping this team in track.

24-0.

Forget worrying about his football career and comng back for UCF next year, this kid’s life may change forever-knee dislocations are bad! There is a possibility he could lose his leg because of artery damage. There have been no official updates on Milton’s surgery, I hope he makes a full recovery.

Players should not be allowed to hit low just as hitting high

Did we really need Mckenzie against USF? USF didn't have Blake Barnett. 2nd guessing should say we shouldn't have played Mckenzie at all and wait for the conference championship game.

Bridgewater faced a similar injury and they nearly had to amputate his leg, so this is way bigger than football.

is that just a guess from the media? with HIPAA and student privacy considerations, practically no teams give out any serious injury information to the media and i cant imagine his family letting any information out just yet

Bama had something like that with Tyrone Prothro. Everyone remembers his incredible catch vs Southern Miss. Bama was up 28-0 vs Florida and Prothro was in the Heisman talks that year. late in 4th quarter, he was in the game and got hit in the end zone resulting in a spiral fracture to his leg. He had trouble just walking again years later, football career was done. Mike Shula criticized for having him out there late in the 4th quarter. But players will play the game, hard to get them out of there. it was good to see WV not let that WR back in after his concussion, even though he was trying to play. You got to protect the players from themselves.

broke my heart to see that

If the defense can keep up what they've done the last 2 games I think they've still got a shot

Nothing dirty about the play at all IMO. Milton was trying to convert a third down on a scramble and didn't slide.

No one's fault. Those sort of hits happen all the time. Milton just got supremely unlucky about where his knee was when he got hit. Could have happened to anyone on the team.
