Who cares? It'll blow over in a week.

As someone in the GB posted, isn't Paolo switching sides( to the U.S. dejavu eh? ) near the endgame just honoring his Italian heritage? Lol

Always two sides, might have been some misunderstanding.

It would be a gross negligence by PB's camp not to have said something to the Italian Federation, so I suspect there's a little more to this than meets the eye.

I imagine something was said, or not said, that helped make up Paolo's camp's mind, which explains the snub and the radio silence.

Otherwise, it's very bad management. The reaction to it is something Paolo and his family would want to avoid. They would surely have considered that.

So the logical conclusion is there's a bit more to it. Either way, it'll blow over in no time.

Of course it could just be the PR debacle it seems to be on the surface. If you're going to bruise the ego of a nation without blowback, Italy wouldn't be your first choice...

matter is maybe trivial esp for americans but its still interesting one ...esp between the seasons...

Polonara on Banchero's case: "We all hoped his choice would be for Italy, but I don't criticize this. He was never in Italy before last week, he feels American. My grandfather is Polish, I go in Poland for the 1st time at 20, but I never thought not to play for Italy..."

The players (I think Gigi Datome) as well seem chill and fine with it - fans being racist and threatening are pathetic. Sure, boo him, be annoyed he spurred Italy, they could've informed them better and maybe there were details left out, but no matter how he did it, he would've angered them.

Regardless though.. grown men should be able to get over this.

Brooo. Andrew Bogut tattooed over his whole back King Tomislav ( croatian first king) and than casually decided to play for Australia

Pass the Rook episode from NBA. It's actually a pretty good episode. You learn a little more about his mom and her influence on his game.

Same. He is very reserved on camera, but he feels like he has a more chill and fun personality outside the cameras.

Not going to lie but on camera him and Franz seem to be the same person. Both incredibly reserved. However on the court, Franz is the same but Paolo is very animated.

I'm curious about his dad. Seems like a business savvy dude.

Enjoy! His interview is pretty much repetitive but it’s a good watch after the Knicks game.

I posted this before I finished and it’s a really good interview and some cool insight about this team. Taylor Rooks is a good interviewer. Her questions really made him reveal his mentality.

Kind of noticed this before, but both of Banchero's pinkies seem like they're bent/can't go straight all the way. Kinda has the Shawn Marion thing going on. I wonder what happened or if he was just born with that.
