How better will he? Who knows. But shooting 6-8% better on FTs is doable, so is upping his usage of threes while finishing stronger inside. He has strong moves to get to the basket but then kind of doesn't commit to scoring or has strange touch at times around the basket.. but that on top of being more comfortable with on-ball reps, sky's the limit.

I'll give the OP a pass on this as I was definitely a Holmgren fan before the draft. I still think Holmgren will be a great player in his own right. However, I feel pretty confident the Magic got the right player for their team at #1.

Its heartbreaking. I wanted #1 so bad to draft Holmgren.... and then i saw this monster Banchero.
Saddest thing is that they would make a perfect combo.
We still dont know how good is Paolo. He plays without PG and spacing which is nuts.
Banchero was the right choice..... but Chet was my "first love" in this draft.

He does need help. Without Franz he is playing 1 on 5 if guys aren’t making their shots.

Not disrespecting your other players, but the Magic need a star player next to Paolo. And the Magic have the assets to do so. They better get a good player for Fultz and Carter, and I believe it will happen especially if you attached a pick (if needed),

We propably have second star in Franz but i agree we need a star guard if we want to contend.

With how good Paolo and Franz are the 3rd guy doesn’t need to be a star guard, good enough with the items we need should be enough.
