Suggs (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Pistons.

Suggs could miss Friday's contest due to a right ankle sprain he suffered in Wednesday's contest against Cleveland. If Suggs is ultimately ruled out, Anthony Black, Gary Harris and Cole Anthony should continue to receive increased playing time.

Surprised as hell that they deem him "questionable" after how his injury looked.... Maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought, afaik questionable pretty much means day to day right? Or game to game?

Usually it means a "game day" decision. The stated purpose of these reports is to help the opponent team understand their own depth charts they need to prepare.

For example: Duren is listed as "Out" and thus that leads Orlando to understand how to focus on their rebounding.

I randomly clicked on the Scoot thread in GB because I was curious (no dog in the fight). I was amused to see a couple people hoping he eventually has a turnaround like Suggs. It's funny that Suggs has become the new poster child for hyped guard that struggles and eventually turns it around.

Personally, I think we got extremely lucky that he turned it around like he did. Not that players can't improve but this is a massive improvement. Not everyone is like that even if fans hope it happens.

With this current roster, it is reasonable to claim he's 2nd most important. Our guards are sub par so he's hard to replace.

Has a lot of implications to be fair. Someone mentioned Franz motor and while I generally don't think Franz has a motor problem, if all you did was compare to Suggs?

I think this is an overvalue of Suggs.

It DOES point out the glaring problem that we lack a 3rd option when Suggs is usually that, and he is the anchor on defense.

Edit : I really like that they put Black in the Suggs roll. For a rookie who fouls too much he did good and has a similar potential ceiling at the minimum.
