I don't get why Toronto has two players ahead of Paolo and Franz.

Whether I like it or not. I think that settles it. Jalen is our 3rd best player.

We can revisit this, maybe after the all-star break or the end of the season.

Our bench is USA Meteor Crater Deep.

Their bench is just Niagara falls? Not even deep, it just falls off.

There are about 12-15 guys ahead of Suggs I wouldn’t trade him for straight up.

In no universe is Siakam better than Paolo and Scottie better than Franz by 15 players.

This list is also funny because team records for this season don’t indicate a lot of these players are actually ranked accurately. Would the Grizzlies be this garbage with two top 40 players on their roster?

I'm not putting too much stock into the precision of the ranking over the rankings themselves. I am fairly confident this ranking doesn't take into account any future projections either.

I've said it before and ill say it again. Our playing style and growth period on offensive will likely results in an "at optimistic" middle of the back 15th in offense while being a top 10 defense.

We will be grinding games to a halt. This will hurt anything flat numbers based. Still trying a stat that reflects the play style properly.

If you can only pick one between Suggs or Black, who do you pick?

Don’t wanna pick. I say keep both. Just remember what Suggs looked like as a rookie. Now, remember that AB is even younger than Suggs was as a rookie yet he’s playing productive minutes on a winning team.

I only advocate for a PG trade so that we can bring AB along slowly over the next ~2-3 seasons. I fully believe in AB’s future as a great starting PG.

Hopefully not but that looked like an Achilles tear for Suggs vs the Cavs. This injury will greatly impact him.

It was an ankle strain.

It's possible that it's high ankle sprain, but it can easly be achillie injury as well, given position where he felt pain.
Normally high ankle spain pain is felt in front part ( lower part of fibula) .

I saw some crappy footages of game replay how injury happened but can't really tell what execlly happened.

Yeah it was awkward. I watched it several times and I couldn't tell. He planted to jump and on the way down his foot went limp. I can't ever recall someone actually jumping and tearing it, it's usually off a foot plant to start to run.

I think Dominique Wilkins is the guy I can think of that was about to jump when his tore but I may not be remembering correctly.

But yeah like you I judged it by where he's grabbing at, his disappointed reaction, and the way he couldn't put any pressure on it when leaving the court.

I sure hope it's not a tear tho

Most people describe achillie tear as "pop" that feels like somebody stomped you, but nobody did. I really pray it's not that. It's very nasty injury

if it were Achilles...they would have probably called it from the locker room...pretty distinct injury. Hated that anyone even brought it up. Scary :o

I wonder if Suggs is going to be out a bit, do they accelerate possible discussions for the upgrade at Guard we need anyway...to ultimately play next to Suggs.

Why are we picking between our starting backcourt for the next 4+ years?

I think based on my *checks notes * recollection of eyriq's posts over the past few months. He has called Black redundant to Suggs.

I think if both of them become average 3 ball shooters we become contenders even with just Goga as center....
