The Magic are now 16-7 at home. They've only lost 1 home game this season to a team under .500 (and really that doesn't count because it was the Mexico City game against Atlanta).
They still play 11 home games against teams under .500.

Now I know I’m never getting away with another vanilla, low effort post again! Hahahaha, re-reading it, I deserved that one. It sounded like a Magic Johnson tweet.

Kinda big Bulls game coming up. Would like to see them stop their run as they've been a good team the last month or two.

I get all mad at our front office today and then Franz says in the postgame interview that it's "good to be back in the Sunshine State."

And only 2 wins back of Philly!
With an opponent record of 0.452 over the last 30 and a Magic winning rate of 0.538, Orlando currently projects for 18 more wins and a 46-36 record. By the same logic, Miami and Indiana both project on 45 wins. This is gonna be a heck of a race for the 6 seed! And the 5-seed is plausible if unlikely.

Box score thoughts:
Orlando won the FG% battle (and crushed in eFG% differential) and won the game
In a slow paced game the Magic still scored 127 points. (WOW)
The Magic made 7 more FGs yet also took one more FGa. How? Orlando dominated the boards with +12 AND that included being +4 in offensive boards.
34 assists. Nice!
Only two warts in this game: 16 TOs and sub-70% FT shooting.
Six players in double figures and eight-total on 8+ points.

They got to get the right guys around wemby man, especially a point guard that can run the team and get him the touches he needs..... At this point he's just getting his numbers and it doesn't seem to be impacting winning

Trae Young to the Spurs excites me. Also: that means the Hawks will suck next year, and I am also ok with that.

Right players?
JUlian Champagnie- undrafted
Sochan- homless Draymoond Green
Trae Jones- 6 foot nothing PG with shooting touch of Elfrid Payton
Collins- broken
Branham - 6'3 small forward
Wesley- couldn't even shoot at college ( is 6'1 and can't playmake nor shoot )
Aside from Vassell, Wemby & Johnosn, not a single person would get any rotation min on any team who has 50+ wins aspirations.
Not to mention whole roster is so damn undersized but also so damn terrible at shooting. It makes no funcional sense to be both- small and awful at shooting. Yet that's execlly what Spurs are. If you remove Wemby from average height, they are easly smallest nba team.
Talent vise, they are easly the least talented nba team today. Even Pistons have more talent. It's Wemby, Vassell, Johnson and bunch of nobodies. Branham in particular, advanced stats vise, is one of the worst rotation players in past several years. And he somehow got worst from rookie year.

you're arguing with a typo, man. he's saying they need to get the right guys around him.

If that's a case. sure. It's near impossible to have worst nba roster than current Spurs have.
They are aiming for top pick again so it's normal i guess.

Nice to have a very good offensive performance for a change but the Spurs are so bad on D and were on the second night of a B2B so it was somewhat expected. But making so many 3s is always a nice surprise for this team. Great to see Franz with another really good game. Ingles looked better and Cole even shot well for a change, but his playmaking is still a mess most of the time.
It would be nice if we could get the offense going early though, in every game lately we struggle mightily on offense in the first quarter. Against the likes of the Spurs at home it won't matter but it's tough and exhausting to dig yourself out of a hole against decent teams all the time.

handled business with a 10-41 team. nice that we are good enough that they can handle it
