Who will be playing the C? :D

Markelle Fultz lol

Don't we have two first round picks in 2025 draft? Along with Franz Wagner/Mo Wagner should be enough to get Cooper!

Ahhh... i wondered when the first " Trade Franz" thread wpuld come up. Lol

But seriously though, no team who gets the #1 pick would consider that. Along with the skill standpoint, do you have any idea about the marketing standpoint in having THE GREAT WHITE HOPE as your franchise player?

I predict his college NIL money alone would be in the millions. This dude was hyped up even 2 years ago.

Although he might suck in college and his price drop down but i doubt it...

Really, Magic has no chance on Cooper. If he comes to Orlando, we are a dynasty, period

How about Terrence Shannon Jr from Illinois? I know he is 23 years old. But he just scored 27 points in sweet 16. He is a guard with range. He is also 6'6 which tells me he has the size. Could he play SF also? He could be a backup to Franz Wagner

still liking Mark Sears with our 2nd round pick. yes, only 6'1 but he fights on defense and great shooter.

NCAA women's basketball is more intriguing this season. Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reeves rematch on Monday, followed by Paige Buecker playing.

Suggs' girlfriend Van Lith plays on LSU now.

That's a good idea! He would bump Fultz out the rotation!

Do you like Jared McCain as well?

Let’s wait until he plays college ball first before crowing him. There has been a ton of guys who have been overhyped in high school to do very little in college or the pros. The most recent example is Emoni Bates.

2 of my favorites balled out against each other today. Knecht with 37 (6/12 from 3) and Edey with 40 pts and 16 rbs. I'd take either with our 1st rd pick.

How high will Edey be drafted? His foot speed will be the most important factor. But will he have a productive career in the NBA? Idk

Edey. He’s a giant on the court in these games, but he’s also a skilled giant. If he were a bench big, he’d probably be similar to Wagner in terms of high efficiency scoring impact with some weak defensive moments.

I don’t know anything about Knecht but he was unconscious and confident. Definitely not intimidated by the pressure tonight.

Knecht not lasting that long. Edey moving on up too but will be an interesting case of who wants to change their offensive/scheme to accommodate him when he's in.

I wonder about Knecht also being 23 and how much growth is left, how much is ability vs being grown man vs 19-20 yr olds

Interesting players for the backup SF.
And they can also share the court with Wagner and Banchero.

Orlando needs a backup SF and possibly a C assuming they don’t resign Goga.

We are two games out of the lotto (yes, I have no faith in getting out of the play-ins if we drop into it). Never say never unfortunately.

It seems like McCain may be at the top of our list now based on where he's projected to go, and he plays at Duke.

Another PG/SG in the draft? Interesting. Well if he is best player available.

Return to Orlando Magic
