They haven't been this good since 2011.

Weltman drafted the 3 best players in Banchero, Wagner and Suggs.

Let him do!!
In Weltman i trust!!

Weltman also keeps his job since 2017, not 2021.

What are you talking about... he doesn't know anything .... I wish we drafted X instead!

Lol... but for real though .... people hate on "The Process" and "the Evaluation".... but rushing doesn't guarantee much either... as pieces are blindly put together ... though on paper they seem great individually.

I'm loving what the FO and Mosely are doing with this group and excited to see what comes in the future!

I really don’t think he will be available by the time the Magic pick but if he is I would take him. He does have that Derozan play style.

There r many players that fit our team in our draft range AND we can afford to gamble on a player with huge potential as we know that the player we ll draft will spend most of the Year in our garage team
Draft Carter
Sign monk
Trade Cole for a forward
Let chuma+fultz go
Offer Harris and goga a 1+1 deal

unleash Jett next seaon

Go Magic

Suggs, AB, Carter
Monk, Jett, Harris
Franz, Jett, Houstan
Paolo, Moe, (Cole trade)
Wcj, JI, goga

I would still take Carlton over those two, but I doubt Carlton will be there at 18. And would rather trade the pick for a third option than draft any of the three.

Well hello.... winning championships are easy.... We do it all the time on NBA 2K

Only 1 team wins every year

Lakers - 6
Boston - 1
Golden State - 4
Chicago - 6
San Antonio - 5
Detroit - 3
Miami - 3
Houston - 2
Milwaukee -1
Cleveland - 1
Dallas - 1
Toronto - 1
Denver - 1

Those are all the team (i think) that had championship in the last 35 years.... 13 teams total...7 teams with more than 2 wins.... and most of them with noticeable dynasties and eras. Trust me... i get it... I WANT TO SEE US HOIST A TROPHY TOO. but blaming the FO for EVERYTHING... though ever changing might be tough. lol... I blame Hakeem and Kobe and Shaq. :-D

But... i pray that we are on the right path to build the a team for the long run to build something sustainable. Foundation for hopefully a decade worth or chances starts with Paolo and Franz. Let's go Magic!

I wish people would stop throwing the word “hate” around whenever fans of a team are critical or questioning the FO’s direction…it comes across pretty childish. We wouldn’t have anything to talk about without some dissenting ideas and they
Haven’t
knocked every move out of the park…no teams have. Idiots actually saying truly hateful things about Weltman are extremely rare as far as I can recall. For the record, despite my daily trade ideas, I think Weltman is doing very well…additionally, he’s piled up all of the ingredients for an Exec of the Year summer. If he’s passive (again), I’d see it as (A) a total fail disguised as patience or (B) ownership quietly handcuffing him….but there’s never “hate” there.

The tiebreaker drawing should be sometime on Monday, and we'll be drafting between 16-19. That's our lottery this year.

Tbh it makes sense. Because the best players will peak at the same time.

LAL and the Pelicans both making the playoffs really helped the Magic in this mini lottery for 16-19. There was a scenario were it would have been a selection from 18-20.

Said another way, if the Magic gets 16 or 17, it will be from a big THANK YOU to these two western teams.

EDIT: it also matter for this pick that the Sixers made the playoffs. TY philly.
