What do you mean? Magic would seem to make money and possibly get their first championship.

Also, what if it meant stopping him from going to the Heat? :o

I think it would be fine. Lebron would play PG for us naturally and he could mentor his own kid.

PG Lebron James
SG Jalen Suggs
SF Franz Wagner
PF Paolo Banchero
C Wendell Carter Jr
I meant it as a positive benefit of the move.

So you would draft Bronny in Round 1... interesting... I would've thought more people would say no.

Message Boar wrote:If we keep the pick, the profile I'd be looking for is something like this: I want someone who can back up/be injury insurance for the likes of JI, Franz and Paolo (and take minutes that Ingles is currently getting), so like a combo forward, who fits our mold of positional size, defensive versatility and bbiq. Shooting is a big plus, but not a necessity, though I'd like to see signs that he can be at least a decent shooter. Either experienced who can contribute early or younger with upside is fine with me, as long as the juice is worth the squeeze. Obviously you wouldn't expect them to be as good as our main guys where we're gonna be drafting, but apparently there should be good role players to be had in this draft.

Anyone have any players for me to look into? I'm just skimming The Ringer's draft guide for guys that vaguely fit my above profile right now, regardless of where they're projected to be picked:

- Matas Buzelis (8th on this big board)
- Cody Williams (9th), SF only
- Zaccharie Risacher (10th)
- Ron Holland (12)
- Tidjane Salaun (15) <- this one kinda fits the home run wing maybe, @Skybox
- Tristan Da Silva (18) this guy intrigues me around our pick at first glance, though I don't know much about him
- Kevin McCullar Jr. (20)
- Kyshawn George (28)
- Bobi Klintman (30)
- Jalen Bridges (38)
- Jaylon Tyson (39)
- Harrison Ingram (42)
- Trevon Brazile (50)

I like Da Silva a lot. He reminds me of Franz. He is 6’9. He is much better shooter than Franz but Franz is much better with drive and kick. Both is a decent or good defender. They both are from Germany.

Is that Da Silva dude a legit 6'9 or is he a * wink wink * college 6'9?

We probably would have to trade Cole Anthony and Wendell to get below the cap even more!

I'm still drafting Chomche with our 1st round pick and could get another 1st round pick with our multiple 2nd round picks throughout the years.

The good news for some of you is that Lebron doesn't care for Orlando too much. Bronny does nothing for this roster, anyway.

I don't blame him. Our plane has been giving us issues, and it may have screwed up our sleep on one of the days before the Charlotte game. I don't think other organizations with unlimited funds have to deal with stuff like that.

We're getting closer to the range McCain may get picked.

Good. I’d rather he retire than play here too.

It's all theoretical talk. I just think some team is going to draft Bronny just to lure Lebron. Of course nobody actually wants Bronny and this is a situation where if Lebron really wants to play with his son, then for the first time in a long time, he'll go to the team because they lured him and not because he chose them.

Guys... for the last... u dunno 5 or more years, did we ever pick a guy that tankathon, nbadraft, ringer, etc etc say we pick?

Then that should be a red flag if your favorite prospect is expected to be our pick

If we finish 8th, how does that impact our draft position.
