6’7” MISSLE on the court.

He would fit in perfectly with the core.

Devin Carter would be number 2 choice.

Jared McCain would be 3rd choice

Late round Drew Pember.

Shannon is interesting but has some of the court stuff going on.

Don't think that Weltman would draft him.

Tristan was already interesting in Europe.
Backup SF but can also play with Wagner and Banchero.

Do you guys think Jett Howard is a better overall player player than this kid?

I wonder if we package Jett or AB with our pick to move up and get a more NBA ready player in draft?

I don't know but I probably wouldn't trade either to move up this weak draft. We don't get to see these kids up close in practice everyday like the coaches do. Maybe Jett is actually terrible and we try to move off of him but Dalton has some holes in his game (mainly defense) and isn't a sure thing from a positive net rating perspective. I would be looking to consolidate assets for proven players, not rookies or picks.

Depends.. Jett is what? 19 or 20? Super Raw.

Dalton right now is better but he is 4yrs older or so and experienced.

Who knows what can happen. If jett has the MAMBA mindset then def he will be 2x better at least. That said if he has the BAMBA mindset then nope, he can sniff Daltons jock.

I'm thinking Anthony Black's immature jersey swap with Dick Grayson might not have been popular with the front office. But then again, he's still a 19 year old kid

As the backup SF spot is a position of need for the Magic Tristan da Silva is very interesting.
I follow him since he played in Germany.
High BBIQ, shooting and solid defender.
Can grab and go and pass the ball.

Can also share the court with Wagner and Banchero.

Also an interesting player for the backup SF spot.

Is versatile so he can also play with Banchero and Wagner.

The best 3 point shooter in college for Dayton.

Almost 100 3s at a 50% clip. 6 foot 6 sniper.

Has another year of eligibility though.

Holmes 23 points 11 rebounds 3 steals and a block

Brea 4/8 from 3 14 points

In a losing matter but they have been playing without a top 5 point guard in college all season after Malachi Smith got hurt 7 mins into the season.

Crazy all their guys can comeback next year. Wouldn’t be surprised by that.

Holmes doesn’t have anything else to prove though. He’s a first rounder. Brea will play in the NBA for a very long time. So many open 3s for him that he will knock down, and can put the ball on the floor and be aggressive to the rack which he showcased with that vicious dunk today.

Hunter Sallis impresses anytime I watch him. I always look for fluid players that seem to have extra time on the ball and he fits that bill. Has decent awareness and 3-level ability (tho the handle is more SG level than PG) Beautiful shooting stroke too.

If anybody has time today. Watch Terrance Shannon Jr for Illinois tonight.

He’s gonna play himself out of our range, but he would be the PERFECT fit for this offense.

And Brea/Pember in second round.

Return to Orlando Magic
