If we'd be mad at it, it's probably a travel... and we would def be mad at that lol. But the report should confirm or deny lol

Competitors get emotional and I have no problem with that. Gotta love a guy who cares about winning any game.

Yeah. Glad we got the win. DET is way more capable than their record…but ORL needs to get some kind of offensive plan. Possession after possession, they were forced into 6 secs of iso perimeter offense after finally getting free of the trap. That’s a problem.

I’m not a hater whining after a win…I’m pointing at something they’ll need to address if there’s going to be any kind of leap forward.

Paolo’s definitely got “IT”…played lethargic all night. Forced up a bad shot against good D. Squared his shoulders and f#@king sunk it! I loved the emotion, the fierce determination to do big things regardless of how his night was going, and the post-shot reaction. He’s one of those few that seem “charmed”. When MJ or Bird pulled up at the buzzer, you just knew.

Great to see Paolo being clutch on the last shot once again, but if he is feeling as bad as he looks he really shouldn't be playing regular season games.
Anyway, all away wins are good wins and the Pistons have been a lot better lately after the disastrous start but we made it harder on ourselves with the ugly offense we played. At least the three point shooting has been much better lately but the playmaking is still a major issue.

Evan looked really fired up for this game, or maybe he is this way every time he gets on the court after sitting out so long.

That lineup with Wendell just doesn't work. They got beat in the first quarter. Then, they blew a 10 point lead in the first minute of the second half. Then he came back with a 9 point lead and 5 minutes left. Poor rim protection, rebounding, and bad decisions.

I dont remember him being this bad. Even Vucevic at least rebounded. Every player shoots above Carter like he isnt even there.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Cole is a better finisher around the rim, probably a better rebounder, and shot blocker.

Even at Wendell's salary, he would be on a good deal as a backup.

WCJ’s shooting and offensive game are important. Defense and rebounding are not our weaknesses.

They all seem to say Paolo sucks, and I say he is really really good. I don't know how to square it.

His aggressiveness puts a lot of pressure on the defense. He’s not efficient but you have to play him tough. If you’re soft he’s going to destroy you. The attention he gets is his biggest positive. If the efficiency ever comes along with it and im sure it will, he’s going to be unstoppable

Paolo did the same jump stop against the Bulls. The Bulls win was the first of 9 in a row.

thats how i saw it too, but we'll see what the NBA has to say. Not that it matters anymore though.. We're two games away from the 4th seed. The Sixers are losing to the Bucks at half time.

Knightro wrote:By my count, this was Paolo's 8th clutch moment (less than 2 minutes remaining in a one possession game) of the season.

11/2 at Utah - Driving layup with 14.0 seconds left down 1
11/15 at Chicago - Middy with 1.1 seconds left in a tie game
11/22 v. Denver - 3PT with 1:49 to go in a tie game
1/5 at Denver - 2 FT made with 34.1 seconds left down 2, 2 FT made with 9.1 seconds left in a tie game
1/7 v. Atlanta - Middy with 1:19 left up 3
1/15 at New York - Middy with 1:37 left up 3
2/2 at Minnesota - 2 FT made with 9.1 seconds left up 2
2/24 at Detroit - Middy and 1 (made FT) with 0.8 seconds left in a tie game

I know he didn't win the game but the Kings game was crazy. Made the game tying shots for regulation and 1st overtime, and almost hit that 3 to take it to a 3rd OT.

I should have clarified, this is in victories only.

He's hit clutch shots in losses as well.
