He played an abysmal game overall and that was the reason we needed a game winner. He himself would have voted for someone else, so lets respect him and hold him to a high standard:)

Actually, I'm going to change mine to:

Isaac
Suggs
Cole

Paolo's GW was nice but we wouldn't need a GW if he played better is how I look at it.

Moe scored well, but was kinda annoyed at his defense. I thought Cole's hustle and play during the 2nd quarter especially was huge.

Paolo... that shot was ridiculous. Having someone on the squad who can make a contested shot like that is priceless (as were those tears). A shot like that becomes even more difficult when you're aware you've been playing like ass. He won the game with that and gets the vest for that.

after that it's a toss up:

Paolo. I would've voted Jalen except he basically disappeared in the 4th when it mattered most. Jalen had a great game, had really big moments that helped us get a halftime lead, and he's my second vote, but with the way Detroit was playing I don't think we win in overtime if Paolo doesn't nail that shot.

Yeap. Paolo. GW is pretty automatic, but I think even more important for our franchise guy to get it. Slowly just freezing that blood in his veins bit by bit.

Meh. Not really.

Wendell has missed 26 games. Black has missed just 4 and has been out of the rotation for another 12 for a total of 16 games. So Black has had 10 extra opportunities for vest points compared to Wendell.

Also, Wendell's three biggest games of the season according to Basketball Reference's game score metric have all come in losses (1/17 at Atlanta, 1/19 v. Philadelphia, 1/26 at Memphis).

And lastly... and most obvious... Wendell is this season's whipping boy for a large amount of posters.
