But... Mitchell probably isn't going to sign an extension, so the Cavs are in a weird spot.

Their best lineups seem to be Mitchell on the ball, Allen as the primary screen and roll guy and three shooters, but Garland's already gotten an extension and Mobley is due one this upcoming summer so it seems unlikely they can trade either one of them with Mitchell unwilling to commit.

I'd still make a big offer for Garland this summer regardless.

I'd rather try to get Mitchell to commit with his new buddy Paolo

DON seems to be the kind of guy that wants the bright lights. NY or Cali kind of dude.... based on what im hearing anyway...

Plus, he has mentioned Miami before as well.

Fultz did good putting up stats in a game if he didn't play we still should win. That being said, he did great, and his highlight reel tape looks great.

I can't expect 8/8 from someone night in night out when they neither draw fouls or shoot the 3-ball. Here is hoping he settles into 10 attempts or something of that nature.

Also worth noting, I think that bench team he played with covers for his weaknesses better.

Something else I notice about Paolo is his gravity is on another level. It'll be interesting to see how top tier defenses attempt to handle him.

Fultz has been aggressive the past couple games and really looking to score. The bench PG role may suit him perfectly.

This SL is looking sharp. Low key, Gary and Suggs are a great shooting backcourt. Wendell is a great shooter for a C. If only Franz could shoot worth a damn.

I just think as far as this season goes that we have to accept Franz is just streaky for now and hope that an offseason of work it comes back to last seasons numbers.

Otherwise, all of Franz stats are up specifically referring to his efficiency, and ability to put up good numbers sharing a starting lineup with Paolo. It is starting to look like Paolo is very much going to need to be a ball hog where the offense goes thru him.

Cole with a stinker. Poor shooting and ball control. Would love for him to get better at this, consistently.

I can't believe I am saying this about Cole and yet you are absolutely correct. He seemed so driven up to this point that I thought he would feast against his second unit piers and instead he laid a massive egg this season and we win in spite of it.

Nice dominant win even with the bench outside of Fultz playing pretty badly. Great to see Paolo being so dominant. That's how we need to play against teams which lack rim protection, just pound them inside relentlessly. The third quarter run which the starting lineup did was beautiful.

Monty Williams is robbing the Pistons blind, 4th highest paid coach in the league yet the Pistons look like the worst coached team in the league by some margin. Yes, their roster is deeply flawed, but not 28 losses in a row bad. Their young players look completely lost out there way too often, he uses some absurd lineups way too much and their defensive rotations are just hilariously bad on many possessions. It was a layup line for us all night and the amount of times the Pistons players got confused on rotations and we got a easy layup out of it was extremely high for an NBA game.

Continues as in 8 turnovers in the past 12 games - 3 of them yesterday? :D and 27 assists meanwhile. Ingles is second in ast/to ratio in our team and first in ast per 100 possessions.

He might be back attacking the rim well. But every lineup he is in struggles with spacing. Just look at last night with the backup unit. You can’t have three non shooters out there in Markelle, Mo, and Isaac. The lack of spacing allowed for a lot of those turnovers. Not to absolve Cole because he deserves some blame too. Fultz is a talented player but our offense would be a lot better if you replace him with a shooter.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

Ingles has been the most disappointing player as of late.
