It would be nice but I'll settle for a top 6 seed/playoff lock. Home court advantage would be HUGE though.

Away in Philly if Embiid can miraculously come back.
2 games against the Bucks.
Win 14 out of 20 games to hit 50 wins. Definitely within reach.
Hit 50 games and they will get the 4th seed.

NOP has been sucking lately
Even if Embiid vomes back to face us, im sure he wont be 100%

Can we make this a thread on playoff seeding and other team watching? Maybe change the title to avoid jinx.

I really hate the **** Mavs. They couldnt beat Indiana once for us and or Sixers without Embiid. And Zach Lowe and other pundits are hyping them up calling them "scary" FOH.

Yep, it's what's keeping Luka down in MVP talks. He has great stats, but team success is not really there even though he has Kyrie as well.

Last game vs Bucks will probably be irrelevant for them. That's their last game of a season, on a road, in second night of back to backs. I highly doubt any starter will actually suit up.

btw i just don't want to play Miami in first round, no matter of home court adventage nor seeding. Just no.

Thing about DAL is that they sold their souls (future picks) to get where they are, roster-wise. I don’t blame them as an impatient, frustrated Luka is a nightmare scenario. I like their draft & their recent adds…but they’re struggling…point is, only next move if the ship isn’t righted is moving Luka (trade demand) for a rebuild package. I don’t think Luka is a guy to stay happy if not contending soon. We’ll see…point is that no one on that team brings enough trade value for a recovery if this doesn’t work.

It seems like the Pelicans have been crushing teams, and we play them twice. We're also like 3-18 on the second night of B2B's the last 2 seasons and could very easily lose to Washington tonight.

Suggs MIP(a reach, but should be in convo) & Def team,

That is not a good stat. But thankfully, we've few b2bs left.

Come the playoffs, if we get there, our away form needs to dramatically improve.

No jinx. Next 2 games are critical. 1 game right now is what is between the 4th seed and the playins. Not exactly a lock. However 1 of those games come against NYK whomever wins that likely gets the 4th spot for a little while longer.

Where are my fellow 50w season people at? Guessing @golffreak is in on it.

Miami is only a half game back, and according to Tankathon has a slightly easier remaining SOS (it's practically identical in reality). It's going to be a dog fight the rest of the way between us and them to see which team can separate and pull out the 4th seed, and I wouldn't necessarily discount Indiana completely yet. Magic need to stay focused and hungry.

Boston has the easiest SOS, which is just terrifying given they're the #1 team in the league. They're probably going to get to 65 wins.

It would be fun for the media and fans to watch, but I agree that would not be a great matchup for us. Unfortunately if I were a betting man right now i'd say that matchup seems very likely, unless Cleveland keeps playing .500 ball the rest of the way and we somehow catch them (if we got to 50 wins, they'd have to go 10-11 the rest of the way for us to tie them, which I just can't see happening unless a significant injury happens). Or I guess unless us or Miami falls off despite the SOS and lets Indiana catch us (they have 7th toughest remaining SOS).
