Play in: Bulls/76ers and Lakers/Warriors advancing.

Dallas finally defeats the Clippers in the playoffs.
Magic in 6.
Suns sweep Minny.
Pacers in 7.

Everything else goes according to plan.

Cleveland is getting roasted by the national media for throwing the game yesterday.

Playoff Paolo and Franz is going to hit different. Franz hitting threes, Paolo triple doubles.

Wow ok what is the reasoning?

I would say Cleveland in 4. Is someone injured in Cleveland?

That's a little over the top the other way. We've played Cleveland tough.

I'll be pissed if we don't make the second round. Cleveland is a good team but they rebuilt in like 3 years not 12 like it took us.

I feel like we as fans have been slighted and deserve quite a bit after the Hennigan disaster.

With that said, still very happy with where the team is now.

We started rebuilding in 2021.

The previous rebuild failed and was blown up. The post-Dwight rebuild started in 2013 and ran through 2017. The re-tool started in 2017 and ran through 2021.

This is the 3rd season of the rebuild.

As they should. They will look pretty dumb if they lose to Orlando now.

I guess we can agree to disagree then. The Eurobros era culminated in a .500 season and two trips to the playoffs. That is a failure to launch in my book.

To me a true rebuild isn't over until you are set to be a perennial playoff team for a long time, like I believe we are now.

That's fine until you use it to justify an expectation that we'll beat the Cavs because we've been rebuilding longer. That logic doesn't make any sense.

I don’t like the Cavs as a matchup for us. Their size really did a good job of stifling our drives and penetration so I expect them to take our bread and butter away. We’re going to need good shooting to open things up a bit more.

It will be interesting to see how the team adapts and responds over a series though. I think they’ll be able to catch Cleveland sleeping and get one game in the series.

I'm with you, they are a rough matchup for us. They pack the paint and blow teams out from the three-point line. We blow teams out inside the paint and rarely win the battle from beyond the 3 point line. Interesting contrast.

Does anyone know when the schedule is expected to be released or know what dates game 3 and 4 are in Orlando? I have bought tickets to game 3 and 4, but am coming from London so want to book my flights as soon as possible.

We really should have a game 1 thread already sp we can talk about this topic.

Also, Okoro is too small of a SF against Franz... i would think Mobley gets Franz and JA gets paolo with Okoro guarding wcj/JI...

We cant takr advantage of that

We played them 4 times, split the wins
1st game Orlando shot abysmally from 3pt - 2-23 and we lost, Paolo had 42 pts game, Garland and Mitchell combined for 61 pts.
2nd game, Cavs shot abysmally altogether 35.3% and we beat them. J.Allen fouled out in 15 minutes.
3rd game Cavs shot lights out - 20-36 form 3pt, we turned over the ball and they beat us convincingly, the worst home defeat this season.
4th game we shot lights out and beat them behind 14-25 3pt shooting, less tos, more orb. The game was won by the bench, all the starters had negative +/-

Paolos scored once 42 pts, the second best scoring result from any of our players was a 22 pts Moe Wagner game.
Franz never reached 20pts against them - 14-19-17-14 pts and 3-19 3pt shooting.
Suggs also didnt shine offensively - 25 pts combined in 4 games, although he got injured in one of them.

Garland playe in 3 of the games, Cleveland lost 2 but he always had positive +/-.
