I agree in theory, but a lot of teams have more top heavy depth... we have depth but after 5-6 players it's kinda like whoever has good day should play more, if not they suck. Teams with a very defined 5 good starters + 3 dependable bench guys can do that.. we have to deal with random off Ingles games, Moe not being effective, Cole chucking, Fultz being Fultz,. AB being a rook.. Houstan not hitting shots.. etc.
The team hasn't looked functional for a while. I know our record is good, but we beat some really bad teams. I think we're 1-5 in the last 6 against 500 teams. I don't think they should just hope they play better. They need to make rotation changes.

I know some of you don't like net rating because it doesn't help your case, but Goga has a 3.4 net rating, and Wendell has a 0. Goga has a great net rating every year. Wendell has never had a positive net rating. It's pretty obvious that the team looks better with him.

Wendell isn't better for the team.

Would you believe me if I told you Fultz finished with zero assists because nobody he passed to hit wide open shots?

Yeah everyone had a terrible shooting night.

I just don't buy this idea that adjusting the starting lineup to guys that don't really get playing time doesn't change how the offense operates.

Im still bitter about our free throw shooting....

Like guys, i'm mostly upset today because my fridge broke and I am fridge shopping on Good Friday....

At the same time I think a lot of everyones points here are just bottled up emotions of what we understand are our glaring weaknesses. The reality is both Paolo + Franz had a bad game. When that happens we just don't have the motor to win against a lot of teams.

That FT % though....ugh.

I have never seen player, or person for that matter, that gets worst, behavior vise, with age. Normally your craziness goes down with testosterone drop after 30s.... Dude is out of control. Will probably get cought up in some BS after his career is over.

Steroids? He definitely shows roid-rage tendencies. Combine that with the way he used to miraculously get in shape for the playoffs every year and I think there's definitely something going on there.

and entitlement. No ref has stopped him before, the league really hasnt done anything. Just like when i ref my kids games, the kids will push the envelope until the ref stops them. let them play physical, they play more physical until you stop them. dont call some cheap shots, more will come. the NBA has let Draymond get away with his play and antics for years, so why would he change. he has become a millionaire doing it

Also he really does have to do all the non-fun dirty work in games.

Think of all the times he gets to watch Curry shoot the pretty threes while he has to direct the defense, tell people what to do, guard the best player all while being their leader in assists.

Their offense is complex it is basically, if a guy gets an open three, they don't shoot it instead Curry or Klay come get the ball and shoot it while the guy who had the ball screens for them. Their strategy essentially works to ENABLE Curry and Klay as much as possible.

It is a self-effacing approach you have to have as a player to play for them and and Dray has been the most successful member of it.
