The case for Klay is pretty clear.

18/3/2 on 43/39/93 shooting in 30 MPG
Championship pedigree

Yeah, he's on the decline. We don't need a core piece, we need a stud roleplayer with experience.

I dont think this FO would do this but believe me if they did the fanbase would rejoice. I mean imagine if Ingles, Fultz and Garys minutes went to Klay, & AB.

We need more playmaking a lot more than more 3 point shooting IMO. The playmaking situation is a disaster, we have 3 PGs who do very little playmaking for various reasons. Paolo is a good ballhandler for a PF, but not good enough to be the primary ballhandler on a good offensive team. Our best playmaker is on his last legs and a big liability defensively.

A quality ballhandler and passer will certainly improve the 3 point shooting of our spot up shooters too.

I agree 100%. Replacing Fultz will help with shooting, but the real improvement has to come from Paolo and especially Franz.

We do but that improvement will come from AB. Klay replaces Harris until Jett is ready in a few seasons.

I’m not into paying Klay if there is literally any other option that isn’t completely washed up.

Is he going to take vet min to mentor Jett? Why does he do that in Orlando? He’s going to want to get paid if he isn’t competing for a championship.

He looks terrible right now and isn’t worth anything north of that if Orlando has better younger options that will be here longer than a year or two.

Not sure how people watch Klay this year and think “yeah that’s what we need on the roster”.

I suspect it's almost certain that Chris Paul will be waived. He's another target.

Hardly. The guy is about to be 39 years old in about 2 weeks, and don’t have much left. Should be targeting players that fit the timeline.

I actually think we have the guys that fit the timeline already like AB and Jett. We just need placeholders until they are ready.

Ironically that's still an upgrade over what we got.

Gary Harris-like without the defense!
You ain't getting that kind of volume from Harris

Harris going 1-for-4 in his zombie play is nothing compared to the 0-for-10 gem Thompson just laid.

Murray, Monk, DLO, Brogdon are all better options than Klay

I don’t want to pay Klay. 18 million a year I’m in. I highly doubt he would accept that to come here.

It's one game, and he was obviously tanking to join Orlando.

You mean he was showing the FO what a Magic player he is by bricking shots like what most of our guys do?

If they were smart, they would throw the bag at Fontecchio. We need another efficient European player who can fill in for Paolo and Franz.

Klay isnt worth the brinks truck. But he put up 18/3/2 with 38%+ from 3. thats not bad at all

I dont know about "bag". small sample size as a starter. looks decent and would give an offer, but i wouldnt make it a giant one
