Dejounte isn't as good of a three point shooter, and a bit more dominate ball handler, which I don't think meshes perfectly with two ball dominant forwards.

You might not be wrong though, he would need to spot up more, and I would need to see his spot up shooting splits.

The thing about bad singular defenders is they can sink your lineup if you aren't an elite offensive hub. Every team will try to force switches on them. Curry gets targeted a lot and it's part of why the Warriors aren't as good anymore, even though he's still pretty elite. I say that to say .. I wouldn't mind Simons, but I wouldn't give a lot up to get him.

Say what you want about today's NBA, but teams relentlessly attack bad defenders now. Can't get away with it as much these days.

I've been on the, "give anything it takes for Simons" train for a long time.

Black as part of the package?

I think cap room and picks would be the most attractive thing for Portland.

He has been one of the worst defenders in the league, and I'm not sure how much he could improve. I know Rashard was a below average defender before we signed him, but he wasn't as bad as Simons.
