OT: ran into the Calathes brothers today...

Post#1 » by theTHIEF » Sat Jul 26, 2008 10:46 pm

I was at Chilis in Oviedo (not sure how I ended up there) and both Nick and Pat showed up with their mother. I said what's up to them, talked for a bit...really nice guys...Pat is looking pretty thin, I didnt realize how lanky he was...Nick and he dont look much alike from the photos I have seen, but they look almost like twins in person, minus the large difference in height...

no cold plunges but meh, that's my story...

thats cool, i went to hs with both of them, nice guys

nick is playing on the greek natinoal team (or at least trying out for it)

pat was in the miami summer league and then went to the Lakers summer league and now im not sure where he's at

he will have no problem getting a contract from an overseas club though...i hope he still gets a shot to be on an nba roster for training camp or something...he can play in this league with the right team...he can handle the ball very very well for a 6-11 player and can shoot the ball.

At my old place in Avalon, Nick used to show up to play poker on friday nights. Cool kid. At first I didn't know who he was (knew the name, had never seen him before) and one of my roommates told me. Thought he was just another average guy in the area. :P

Haha, no Cold Plunges, but it was Chilli's, so that counts. (Get it, chilly-cold, hahahahahaaha)

Nick needs to have a big season for UF, when Dan Werner is your second best player... you have issues.

I used to see them at Magic games during the 06-07 season.

I played against Nick my freshman year in HS. He is a cool guy and after that I used to see him at Magic games also and we would talk. I haven't seen him in a while though. He is a stud and he will be in the NBA before you know it.
