Team USA vs Germany

USA up by 40 and Dwight is having an awsome game. 22-9-2, looks like they're finally getting him involved.

I think the thing that has been making Dwight look bad at times is his intensity level in comparison to guys like Lebron, Bosh, Wade, Kobe. He is a much more laid back type of player. You don't notice it as much in Orlando because most of our players are like that anyway.

Dwight's about as far from an international-style center as you can get. I don't think it's his attitude or his intensity, he's just not the prototypical big for this style of basketball.

I was watching before going to work (about the first 10 minutes or so) and (A) Dwight was making a determined effort to get position and (B) they were looking for him.

The commentators (Doug and ?) said that getting him going opens up the game for everyone else. That's something we've come to appreciate in Orlando for a little while now ;-)

Yeah those comments make me kinda sad after nearly 4 years of Dwight in the L it's like nobody's ever watched a Magic game since the Shaq/Penny days

Dwight had a huge game today. His teammates were really looking for him, and he made the most of the situation. Dwight seems to get into the game when his teammates are looking for him and to get discouraged and aggravated when they're not. I think that I can speak for everyone when I say that Team USA is much more dangerous when Dwight is emotionally invested in the game, and that we're going to stand a better chance at beating the better teams when he's reeling in big points and rebounds.

Here's to Dwight. Keep it up.

Alot of bigman are like that. You hear comentators say this all the time. Team USA has to get him involved if they want to be unbeatable. Got to feed the beast.

did anyone see the 2 on 1 breakaway with dwight and cp3? Cp3 went for the off the glass alleyoop for dwight but it was broken up. That would have been awsome.

Honestly, i hate it when they go for the highlight reel play. I know it was a blowout, game was over but just do the simple play. Make the simple pass and get the easy basket. No reason to show up ur opponent.

I only saw the first qtr, but Howard was nicely involved.

The USA squad was dominant and unselfish.

Germany didn't even stand a chance today. This team is unbeatable with Dwight getting involved and he made Kaman look like just anoher scrub out there. This team is finally clicking on all cylindars tho. I would love to see a Dream Team vs. Redeem Team show down......two of the best teams ever asembled.

Good to see Dwight have a great game today. Coach K should be very pleased with that effort. Total domination by Team USA.
