Is this correct?
I knew that he still gets paid, but do we pay it, or is league insurance covering part of it. Does it count against our cap?

That sucks, he is a nice guy that was looking for a guaranteed contract after playing with so many different teams.
JCritt would still be cool I think Memphis wanted money from the Knicks to absorb some of Randolph's contract the TPE could help if they are still interested...a nice dream would be Critt and Warrick for 1st-TPE-Bogans-Fran-Cook-Pat Garrity Jersey-anything.

If Mem is still asking 2 first rounders for Critt then they can just forget it.

Man, that's awful for him. But at least its not horrible for the Magic since he wasn't guaranteed.

Well now that wilks is gone what do we do about the PG situation? We have Nelson for about 68-70 games. We have AJ who should be good to go when he comes back and Hedo is out for who knows how long. Do we really start to use CLee at PG spot and then use all 3 SG's?

The league picks up part of the tap on vet min deals. The Magic are stuck for the rest (~500k).
The Magic are over the cap this year, so the issue is moo; it's like a cow's opinion.
I guess your question is does this effect the lux cap. Here the answer is:
For minimum salary players whose salary is partially paid by the league (see question number 11) only the amount paid by the team (the two-year minimum salary) is taxed.

Clearly missed the thread on not being able to combine the TPE with another exception or a player in a trade.
