Is he any good. GS may waive him per wiretap bc ellis is coming back..or they may have to do a 2 4 1 trade...

I'd do bogans for morrow+m.williams lol

Well, let's see... who started at PG for the Warriors? Who is starting now?

I'd venture a guess that maybe Williams isn't so good.

Of all the PG options on the Warriors, Williams is by far the worse. He cant even remember the plays, per Don Nelson.

I'm not sure why the Warriors would cut Marcus Williams. He's the only pure PG on that roster, and if the Warriors don't need his services, they'll use him as a trade bait. If the Warriors were to cut a player, my guess is that they'll waive DeMarcus Nelson. Usually, you cut the player with the least amount of money in his contract.

But when Pietrus wasnt getting playing time in GS it was because he was being used wrong/in the wrong system...

You need to be a unique player to thrive in Don Nelsons system We just need an insurance policy, and Marcus Williams is a perfect fit. I would love to bring him in as our third guy. He wouldn't demand court time, and that would give us time to groom him to our system.

being from ct i know a little on him, he is a good pg with a lot of potential, hes also got some size too. He would have easily been a lottery pick in the draft but he was caught stealing laptops or something like that so his stock went down fast! He is almost along the lines of redick but with more talent, someone who has potential but never really had a lot of opportunity to show it

if we could get him im all for it, im sure hes cheap too if bought out and since he is young he could be a good spark off the bench over our 98 year old #2 pg right now

bad example when it comes to the Warriors. Nelson uses Maggette at PF... that's not to say Maggette is the best PF on that team.

i haven't seen the W's play this season, but my guess as to why he doesn't fit is that he's not a big time scorer, and Nelson likes to know every one of his positions is a threat for 50 points on any given night...

at only just over a mil per season, and the cost of JJ, i'd definitely make a swap for Williams.

Otis yes needs another pg, but Marcus Williams is not worth the bother. The Nets were thinking about waiving him before he got traded he is that bad and now we here the same news with the Warriors this should tell everyone that Marcus Williams is just a waste of ink and should just disappear back to who knows where and no Europe is not the answer for Williams either. I don't think that any of the teams out there will take him either.

Marcus Williams suck balls. He shouldn't even have a job. He is so obese, he makes Shaq look not fat.

obviously he wouldnt be a starter here but he has the size and athletic ability to play good defense, and hes a good distributor

if we could waive wilks and trade the TPE for Williams that would be a good deal for us... trading redick wouldnt hurt me either, but i think the warriors would take the tpe for him
