There is no chance at a championship this year. Actually I expect more of what happened tonight. I'm not upset anymore. Once I accepted that our season is over it got a lot easier.

At least th U.S won tonight.

Hopefully we have a good draft and we stay healthy next year. Don't expect much to happen in free agency. Except for paying Hedo a max contract or losing him, and losing Gortat to a team that will over pay him.

Well it's a damn pitty you arent our GM...

im actually glad i didnt see this one, as something in my room might be broken into pieces right now. was it really that bad? i guess so, 30% shooting, doesnt get much worse

what i think will happen is jameer will come back after ASB. the time he took to "ponder his options" was time to see how the team does without him. we are obviously struggling due to a lack of energy it seems like. think of all the times this year we have been down by as many as 12 or 13 and rallied back behind jameer. right now we get down double digits in the first half and i want to turn the tv off because there is no coming back.

i was for surgery, but i cant watch this. i say come back and get surgery in the off-season. and i also think jameer will come back because he is that type of player

First off, the boxscore tells it as it is, ONE assist between both PG's. So you mean to tell me you guys agree with Otis and believe that Lue was a better choice to help than Marbury could have? With Lue the season is toast anyway. So with the season toast, why not take a chance on Marbury? 10 day contract. If he sucks, fine, cut him loose. But if he had something to prove and played good then it's ten times better than what Lue could give us. We had nothing to lose on that move. What is he going to do, screw up the team chemistry we currently have? It's a no brainer. gee, I'd even settle for Sam Cassell right now.

Also, is there some kind of curse with making the All-star team? First Nelson gets bad, and then Lewis decides to disappear since they annouced they were selected for the team.

I'm glad you said that because I've been thinking the same thing too! You just know Jameer wants to be out there! I look at it like this:
He's going to have to have surgery regardless. . .so why not just play through the pain? Right now a 70% Jameer is better than the two PG's we have! I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to come back and play. That's just the type of competitor Mighty Mouse is!

Kenyon Martin is an idiot. Wow.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

otis can't be done dealing. he just can't be. the lue move was to simply shore up our 3rd PG spot while he works on getting us a starting caliber PG who can at least approximate what nelson gave us.

yeah. i mean, that's gotta be it.

either that or he knows that nelson is going to come back this season and only signed lue as a very short-term stopgap until he returns.

i shudder to think if neither of these are the case.

exactly what i said tonight. a 75% jameer is 75% better than AJ. and the thing that makes me think that jameer will come back even more is that management and ownership, even though they have hinted they want surgery now, have left the decision up to him. another thing is when you see jameer on the bench he is moving that arm with no wincing or grimacing or anything of that nature. granted its not basketball speed but he doesnt even have it in a sling and is moving it freely. i think he wanted to take time off to see how we would do without him. now he sees that we blow and will try to come back. i mean jameer is that type of player. if you leave the decision up to him you're basically saying "take time off and come back cause we need you." like you said, he's that type of competitor, and its what separates him from others. he is the captain, the leader, and mvp of this team

How do you give a 10 day contract to a player that is still under contract with the Knicks? Until the Knicks buyout Marbury (by no means a guarantee) thats not a valid complaint.

Agree 110%
With the way our team is playing right now, I don't think we'll get out the first round. We'll end up playing the Heat or Pistons and get knocked out.
If we don't get Meer' back or make another move. . .I don't how anyone can argue against it

Both teams played so crappy. But, last night was Exhibit A on why the NBA will never be the most dominate sport. The officiating. AGAIN.

What was worse, the TOs or the horrible shooting?

What a pointless effort.
